    There's no garnishment for civil judgments in many states (most of the commonwealths) in the US.

    Not so in South America. I've had my n95, n900 and a number of Androids liberated from my person. It's just recently they "say" they're going to enforce a stolen IEMI database, but monthly untold hundreds of people get hurt over smartphone strong arm theft and some killed. An N900 looks mighty shiny in Bogota.

    Absolutly! Additionally, all intelligence or evidence should be considered as fruit of the poison tree, including any information derived from the "poison". Therefore inadmissible in court.
      They should also be liable for civil rights damages.

    No you wouldn't. You can buy many prescription antibiotics without a prescription at your local pet store. Sometime look at what is sold over the counter, in the fish section. Larger quantities can be found farm supply stores.
      It's the same stuff with "not for human consumption" labels.

    So buy an Iphone or an Android or whatever device you want. Sounds like a decent price on the bandwidth. Does it matter what device you use?

    btw, I have unlimited, unthrottled 3.5g service for the equivalent price of $23, in SA. I absolutly abuse the service, torrenting, tethering, running an ap, using voip even swapping the sim to another device and I dont use any voice services they sell. All on a prepaid sim. I've never had a problem.

    Additionally suprising is how this user got a court to hear the case. Most EULAs have a clause that forces a litigant to binding arbitration.

    It will be a long time and real costly before he sees a dime from this judgement, if ever.
