Sure it's gorgeous, but they have made it Battlefield Bad Company clone as they do nothing to facilitate team play which is why BF2 was so fantastic (especially on teamplay servers). Sure BF2 wasn't always a team play game, but it happened if you fell into the right group of folks.
In BF3, the squad system is hidden, the squads are smaller, there is no squad leader, no squad based VOIP, no squad way points, no intrasquad commands, and no commander. I played on teamplay BF3 servers, made no difference.

Very true. However, we are ALL at fault. As long as people shop by price and not quality it will be a race to the bottom for airline service and comfort.
I support better service by using airlines that offer economy plus and pay the extra money. Do you?
What percentage of HTC phone owners actually know how to root their phones and consider it worth the time and effort? I'd take a bet it's way less than 5%, not "most people" as you suggest.
Why are there a measly 82 comments in the prior post and this one isn't generating a lot? This is a significant finding, and when this happens on iOS slashdot has 500+ comments. Perhaps the low comment number is because the apple folks aren't as crazy with trolling on android as vice versa?
University employees are basically protecting their jobs. If you can do classes online, you won't need as many administrators, logistical personnel, and yes, even profs...
Considering Netflix recently lost half their market value, I wonder how they are going to afford this? Are they only going to stream a handful of Dreamworks titles?
And loss of market value means what to their cash flow? Unless they plan to start selling stock it really doesn't effect the amount of money they have to spend after the IPO etc
End of an amazing run. Steve took a company I disliked (I was hugely anti-apple in the 1990s) and, in the last decade, made it into a company whose products I looked forward to each new announcement!
I would LOVE to be throttled! That would mean I actually maintained connection long enough to use the data at a high speed to be in the top x% of users.
