The where are the answers to questions 6 and 7? You can still answer them. The fact that the person asking one of the questions had never posted before is to unusual, a lot of the people who read this site don't register. If the opportunity comes up to have a question that they have answered by an expert presents itself and it is something they are interested in, they will register just to ask the question. I am really interested in the answers to these two questions, I have thought about them myself. They may seem like "traps" to you, but these are the questions people really have! Question 6 is asking if downloading from a LEGAL offshore site is ok, allofmp3 if you are familiar with it seems to live in a gray area because in the US you may not be able to run a site the way they do, but their local laws allow it. Question 7 seems to be asking the basic question about copyright (as I misunderstand it). Doesn't copyright law allow of a backup copy of software (CD, DVD, PC, etc) to be kept be the legal licensee? I realize that copy protection exists because even if I am allowed to make a legal backup copy, the company supplying the disc is not required to help. If there is copy protection involved and I bypass it to make my legal backup copy, isn't that now against the law because of DMCA? Which takes priority? Further, since my purchase of a CD/DVD/PC disc is only a license to use it, then shouldn't I be able to get a replacement copy of that disc of the copy of the media?, since I still "own" a license to the disc? Question 7 seems to deal mostly with this, since I am buying a license to the music and a copy of the media, can I replace damaged media by making a copy of the same CD a friend might own?
No big deal, just get rid of all the music videos. I can't watch one anymore without thinking for the greedy rat bastards behind their distribution anyway, makes me sick! Record companies are just something I will avoid alltogether from now on, and the artists will unfortuanatly have to suffer as a result. It seems that getting your music legally still guarantees you might be doing something illegal once you have it because even the legally aquired version has so many restriction on how it can be used. I'm getting much less flexible/liberal rights to the music that I am still paying the same money for. The record companies are getting to the point that they're going on protect their material right off the market.
So, effectivly, what you are saying is that if I go to a sign company and say I want a sign that says "Microsoft" it'll cost me thousands of dollars, but the same sign that says "Bob's Pizza", is only $5. Maybe the price that it costs to incorporate a company should be based on it's name or size too. This is such a huge steaming pile of crap!
Why are people so frustrated with this? I typically resist change, but I'm ok with this. If the definition of planet has been refined (that's my understanding) and pluto no longer fits the criteria, then this is fine.
I've got hundreds of IPs from the ISPs in question that are spamming the hell out of me, I have unequivical evidence, will they just turn those off for me too? What a load...
BTW, the CAPTCHA word for this post was "jerkings", how appropriate....
Ok, M rated games. How many R-Rated DVDs and or VHS tapes? How much TV-MA rated television viewing? What ever happened to blaming everything on rock/rap music? Maybe it's another RIAA plot!
In case anyone else starts doing this too, I'm putting a blank DVD (maybe a CD will work too) in EVERYTHING I ship, if enough people do the same, it won't be worth their time. I feel sorry for the dogs!
If spam could be eliminated look at how much bandwidth would be saved. When my ISP (BellSouth) stops all the spam entering their network, then they can talk to me about how they need to prioritize my traffic because of limited capacity.
To me, wireless recharging means a home tesla coil, then again if we had true wireless recharging, we wouldn't need batteries at all. Now, contactless recharging (toothbrushes, shavers) are just using induction, this is the same method used to power the Mobil SpeedPass for example.
There used to be a company called "realnames" that allowed you to register keywords that would take you to a site. The company is gone AFAIK, and you only "major" partner they got was Excite.

Well, according to RIAA and MPAA, it's exactly the same thing.

This sounds like the beginning of Chris Rock's idea for "gun control", make bullets cost $3,000 each...
"He must of done something, there's $60,000 worth of bullets in his ass!"
Maybe they should call this RIAA's Vietnam...

Take a look that this link http://attrition.org/security/advisory/AusCERT/SA- 93.03.Suggested.Login.Banner take specific notice of the advice regarding the use of the word "Welcome" near the bottom.
