Aww, it was a joke. Come on.

You'd think if the animal's can do it, we'd be allowed too. I say this is lovely fuel for the fire.

  3. No Fu for You on Non-Traditional Games On The Rise · · Score: 2, Funny

FTA: "Here's the thing: at no point do you shoot the animals with a gun. You don't even kung fu poachers to death." What? No kung fu in a game based in the African Serengeti National Park? Worst. Game. Ever.

    Yup. Is gonna happen.

  5. Re:Plus Google is mo better on Official BitTorrent Search Opens · · Score: 4, Interesting

Keep in mind that that the BitTorrent engine is going to show you two specific torrents. Google shows you those same two torrents, albiet listed (likely even just referenced and not linked) on dozens of websites. I think Brahm is gosh darn crazy having a hand in this, but as an avid torrent downl- err, 'content browser,'- it's seems as efficient as using several sites to find one particular thing.

Yeah, All Saudi Arabians are evil. Surely it's not just the .0000009% that hate America. It has to be all of them, right? I think the point of the law is to make bucks off of the people (i.e. Indians) who are receiving more and more of our dollar. I could care less either way, but that comment by the person who submitted the article was plain retarded. And no offense to the retards on the board here.

BTW AKAImBatman, if you're scratching your head, I was just unscruptiously piggybacking on your post. This isn't in response to your comment.

  7. Aging Panther Installs will Break Tiger Upgrades on Rave Reviews for Mac OS X 10.4 Tiger · · Score: 2, Interesting

I have an 1ghz iBook G4 that I had done a clean install of Panther a month ago and installed Tiger directly over the top when I received it yesterday. It works beautifully. My roomate has a 1.2ghz Powerbook that's Panther installation dates back to the reciept of the machine over a year and half ago, and Tiger runs like shit on it. It broke everything. Connecting Firewire devices gives him Apple's Screen of Death (I didn't know it even existed . . . the screen goes black and white and says shit in a whole bunch of languages), Expose is broke, his widgets don't work, Spotlight is slow as hell, networking busted . . . wiping his drive and reinstalling clean fixed all of this. Just something to keep in mind.

By "not the fish to eat," are you refering to a fish that is eating? Or does that mean the same as the first part, "the fish to be eaten?" Could be taken as either, and I'm not familiar with the phrase. Stupid, jerk-ass English language, being all stupid. (Self-Score:-1 Drunken Blathering)

  9. Award shows = $$$, Not Art Appreciation on Editorial: On the SpikeTV Video Game Awards · · Score: 1

True followers/participators of anything artistic look/strive for progressiveness in their medium. People here on /. are more likely to be appreciators of the art of videogames, so of course a big media award show would be offensive to you. I'm a appreciator (to understate) of music, and I find music award shows and the crap they honor extremely offensive. Anyone who loves movies probably disagrees with the Academy 90% of the time. Don't expect the TV to honor high art. Most people in this country are stupid, in every sense of the word, eating up what's fed to them by the advertisers that all media outlets consist of. I'm just kinda surprised people expected more.
