    If we consider hurricanes as huge engines with the warm ocean water as a fuel, then it seems logical that by cutting off the warm water, we can in theory at least reduce the organization of said hurricane. Water a few hundred feet below the surface is orders of magnitude colder than water at the surface. All we need to do is bring this water to the surface in the path of an approaching hurricane. How we do this is left as an exercise left to the reader.

    No i didnt RTFA but it seems to me that as long as you have enough cars daisy chained along, there would be no physical distance limit. However, in passing data from car to car to car to car, the End-to-End latencies build up I'd suppose.

    RP is nothing compared to IST Service. Ive tried every method to get rid of that bugger from runni[just popped up some exitexchange crap]ng symantec's ist service's removal tool, which doesnt work, to just booting to the command prompt and deleting files manually, which again doesnt work.

    I have been working on an idea to create educational systems for embedded systems. One such idea is a handwriting analysis tool for a PDA to teach script and print to children. I think it would be used as a supplement to a teacher based lecture on writing. The program on the PDAs can interpret the child's writing and respond appropiately. They could work on BlueTooth and be uploaded to a server where the parents can check on their kids progress at home.

    It seems to me that the airplane's CPU's can be progammed with specific no fly zones and either warn the pilots when the plane is getting close or take control of the airplane and turn it.
