Estradsphere - Buck Fever - super buck ii. Best video game music gone rock/jazz. Its a string arrangement of SMB 2 music. check it out.

  2. Re:schools? hell no on Digital Enhancements or Expensive Distractions? · · Score: 0

Same thing here in Seattle. We even had classes on how to use IE. Thats pretty bad. Every two years or so the teachers all got new computers (iMacs) and none of them know how to use them except for grading. And you do not need the lastest imac for grading. There was one teacher (ex-microsoft employee) who realized how bad the tech was being used there and started a c++ class.

"I get my news from the web"...yes and thats why your on slashdot... Actually im going to agree with your young white male theory. Ive grown to hate tv. I avoid it as much as possible. Many of my friends were tv junkies 'till around the end of high school when they realized how dumb it is. We have all been happier, creativer and productiver without it. I still like some tv shows but it's not worth it to watch them on tv (bittorrent or rent/buy dvds).

Rossi is one of three rep. i voted for. WA is majority dem so the fact that it was a tie tells you how well liked he is(for a conservative) around here.

  9. Jr. High school on UCSB Student Engineers Grade Hack · · Score: 1

In 9th grade a friend I discovered that we could open up the chooser (macs) on any computer in the school, click on a teachers name, put in their password (super easy guesses... last names in most cases) and have full access to all their files. We read both the school and district rules and found that as long as we didnt change anything we were safe. So during class we would browse that teachers files while they were looking. It was pretty funny considering most of our teachers were pretty cool.

I can second this as a mormon. I will say, however, that Utah has lots of mormons and traditaional mormon values (Not actually church related things like old wives tales and super-conservitive values. The church is actually very liberal in ideology) are prevolent. The problem is that this mentality gets into the state gov.(democracy). But not everyone their is mormon and all it does is make people mad and point fingers and give them negative views towards latter day saints. If absolutly everyone there was a member then great, but they arent. Its really interesting to go down there and see how alot of teens rebel. It is quite entertaining. I personaly, being from seattle, cant stand being there for more than a week or so to visit family and go skiing. Too much meat and jello.

  15. Re:Meh on Nintendo's Next Console Revolution Will Have WiFi · · Score: 1

Personaly i find games aimed at the older audience tend to be enjoyed the most by 12 to 14 year olds. GTA and the like dont apeal to me (20). I prefer games like mario and other cute type games. The games are just more fun. Am also a big fan of puzzle games. That one thing that nintendo has do to piss me off is scraping their panel de pon for GC. Most games made today no matter what the age group are kind of lacking gameplay wise. I think nintendo knows this and thats why they want to shift from graphics. the polygon monsters in Super Smash arent that important.

I agree with you here. Im no expert but that energy will be produced whether or not we use it. Keeping engery levels low or constant may prevent building of dams... etc and lead to wind/solar but turning off a light bulb doesnt make you an environment saver. Longer lasting lights for example are a great idea. This is because of a cut down on waste. This is like when people go around saying "we can make hydrogen cars now! Out law combustion engines today!" (over statement). Think about all the waste that would come form trashing the millions of cars. Note that this is coming from a vegan and not an SUV owner.
