The problem with auto-generated models is that they are ugly as sin. Modeling is as much about the accuracy as it is about topological flow. Auto generated 3D models are pretty much a failure unless generated in the quadrillions of polygons which would just then be turned into a displacement map for a model with better topology. Certainly I treat download-able models as something of a beginners crutch when attempting to learn. Certainly if someone is taking your wire frame you can't get too angry, but when they take whole scenes and re-render them in different positions and sell them that's a different story all together.

Advertising doesn't help the pill become better. You're asking a question your already know the answer to. But advertising is a must. Not to mention they already spend 3 times more on research and development than they do on advertising (which includes everything from those television ads to personal doctors visits). Do you even have any idea how AWESOME Viagra is? Have you used it? Do you even know the story behind Viagra. Phizer didn't set out thinking "we're making a pill for people who can't get boners". They were actually developing a medicine to treat Hypertension. It just so happens that the chemical works on the heart tissue which is somehow similar to the penile tissue. On top of that, Phizer already creates a drug for hypertension that uses the same active ingredient as Viagra. Haven't heard of that pill have you? Plavix is important for people with heart disease. An anti-platelet coagulate is very effective at reducing future strokes/heart attacks. Advertising is important, but that budget in no way competes with pharmaceuticals R&D budget. No way in hell.

Uh no, that billion dollar mark is what it takes to actually get the drug to the public. That figure does not include advertising or any other costs.

That's because Canada ought right denies longer patents for pharmaceutical companies. If you really had the time to sit down and examine where the most useful drugs are produced you'd realize that generics don't actually do any drug research and are just parasites on the carcass of dead patents of real pharmaceutical companies. Phizer has done more good than any generic company when it released Lipitor (the most prescribed pill IN THE WORLD). Also, the fact of the matter is that you are being raped by your insurance company not the pharmaceuticals.

  11. Re:It's True on Study Links Storm Botnet's Growth To Illegal Drugs · · Score: 2, Insightful

Drug prices are expensive because it costs nearly 1 billion dollars to create one new drug. Each pharmaceutical must spend a billion dollars to push out ONE drug. This is why AIDS medications and others are so expensive. There are so little with this disease that it's hard to make 1 billion dollars back in the scope of the patent. Health care has nothing to do with how expensive drugs are, the FDA actually does. They require such stringent research on medications (this includes years of human trials) that it's literally impossible to create a new cheap drug.

where's your proof that the console is doing poorly? from what I can see is that the defect is the only thing wrong with the xbox360. From what I can see in sales charts, the 360 is doing better than the PS3 on a month to month sales basis. It currently has the largest developer support and has the ability to play online games with PC users. If you really think you're correct, then I suggest you do your research to make sure anyway. Considering the only consoles that are selling extremely well are the PS2 and the DS.

and hey check it out! proof!

Bay shore? Nope I did not attend bay shore... or even go near bay shore. I graduated from HTH Point Loma, the first HTH school. Where we got cheated the most. Most of the funding for HTH goes towards new schools so HTH Point Loma started to get under funded and gradually declined in status due to aging computers and the like. Eventually we as students just started bringing in our own laptops because they were faster than the school computers by far. Though... I had a great time at my school... I got cheated out of college but not fun.

I actually graduated from HTH in 2006. A lot of what they say is pretty bogus. The school is very biased about its' students. They will help students with better grades and essentially leave the students with worse grades to the sharks. It's a sick system where they help those who don't need help and punish those who do need help. Bill gates did visit our school, he's a cool guy in person. The drag was, he visited with Oprah. Oprah was a fat bitch to every kid she hadn't been introduced to personally by our principle. Such a fat bitch.

I own and have beaten this game. I thought it was great! There are times where you will get knocked down and get up and then knocked down again without a chance to fight back. I think that's just my fault for sucking at the game. Though the mechs are what this game is all about. You start off with some mediocre mechs, then half way through the game you come upon the coolest mech ever. Your dads mech. It then turns into a more Armored core game than anything. With the gattling guns you can essentially hold down the trigger and rain death upon your enemies! The best part of the game though are the boss fights. They hold a certain nintendo feel in the way the weaknesses are displayed.
