    Since when are hard disks liquid or gaseous? Mine don't contain tubes - do yours? "Solid state" is an old term that came out to differentiate snazzy new radios from old clunky vacuum tube ones.

    What is the big deal? Corporate accountants can make donation a nightmare sometimes. I've seen surplus hardware gather dust and eventually be thrown away when a not-for-profit customer could have really really used it -- because the suits couldn't figure out how to account for it.

    Legit TV series DVD's would sell a lot better if they'd get real about how they put them together, and what they charge. If you've got 24 half-hour shows, packing only 3 per disc is dumb.

    I uses a Sun type 6 mouse and keyboard on my G5 because Apple's keyboards have capslock and control swapped, and to have three buttons. Works beautifuly, even the audio and power keys.

    Much of what is forbidden, under available food preparation techniques (which were also specified at a high standard of sanitation), would have been either a bacterial risk or unhealthy in general. Allowing animal products at all is inconsistent with that idea, though so it's flawed at best.
