Using a standard scanner and some scripts that used image magick to do some sorting and converting. I don't know of any bulk scanners other then network copiers. You could try using those. I presume you will be doing this in a linux enviroment.
Good. Very good. Stay healthy (eat right/exercise etc) and you will save money. I think that is an excellent motivator. Think about it for a minute. If enough organizations do this, and people on a whole get healtier then the cost of insurance should go down because they aren't paying out nearly as much. Then the companies can fight back and say to the health insurance people: why are we paying so much?
