Unless the weather isn't conducive to VFR, in which case, guess what? The autopilot lands the plane. In situations where the pilot cannot be trusted to land due to poor visibility or other issues, the autopilot is king. I've taken an A320 class D flight simulator from ATL to JFK without touching the controls except to set the throttles to the climb position from TOGA, setting the flaps, and landing gear position.

Look up TCAS sometime. The planes have sensors to detect each other. If the TCAS system detects a possible collision situation, the planes determine, all by themselves, the correct course of action, and then relay that information to the pilot. Commands like CLIMB or DESCEND or STAY LEVEL. In this situation, the pilot has absolutely no say in the matter. They are required to obey the computer because in the past, pilots ignoring this input have cause planes to crash into each other in mid-air because the pilot thought he knew better. The TCAS commands even override Air Traffic Control commands. How's that for trusting your life to a computer?

Problem is that Trump is a level 50 mud thrower and Americans have a short attention span. If it comes down to Hilary and Trump, Trump will just start throwing and Hilary will be on the defense for her entire campaign. The issues won't even come up. Trump vs Hilary? I think Trump will win. At least Sanders would have a chance against Trump because there's nothing to throw at him. Trump would be forced to talk issues, in which case, he would lose. If the DNC wants a chance at this, they need to back Sanders or the Dems are out.

Most common home alarm clocks use the powerline frequency to keep time. Most places use power at 60Hz but when I was in Japan, places north of Tokyo use 50Hz power. There was a switch on the back to set the frequency. Forgetting to change that switch would cause the clock to run fast/slow depending on where it was located. Perhaps yours has the same problem?

Hell, people who kill themselves in Japan actually have the courtesy to take their shoes off before jumping in front of a train so others will know it's intentional and not an accident. Thinking of others until the end.

What I'm saying is that if NK were to choose a target to do a maximum amount of damage for as little overhead as possible, as well as giving the entire region a black eye, Okinawa would be that ripe target. Of course retaliation would be swift and severe, but that won't make it any less damaging.

Perhaps a collapsed thread of at least to the GGP of that comment should be visible so the reason for the moderation is in context?
