Common? Not sure what universe you're working in, but you ought to consider leaving. In over 25 years working in high tech, many of those with small startups, I've never, ever encountered someone's spouse interjecting his or herself into the running of the company. Not even close.
I haven't noticed many 'bestsellers' being part of the library program. If by bestseller you mean NY Times bestseller list bestseller. Mostly it's confined to the self-published stuff. I can't think of a major publisher than participates in the program.
Plus, in regard to ROI, I'd imagine a few hundred or even a few thousand invested in tracking equipment would pay off handsomely the first time they/avoid/ losing a 270-300 million dollar aircraft.
I can't figure out what you're trying to get out of me, but from my point of view, the daycare example is nonsense. I'll restate: It is not discrimination to deny enrollment to a 20 year old if they are providing a daycare service for small children (for example 2-6 years old). The service is not aimed at 20 years old. It wouldn't be discrimination if the person was 15 or 51 either. Just like it wouldn't be discrimination for a university to deny addmission to a preschooler. Or is that discr4imination based on age as well?
They are not discriminating on the basis of the child's age. They provide a service. To the PARENTS. The service is to provide daycare facilities that accommodates children of a certain age. You might as well say that a barber is discriminating for refusing to dryclean your suit.
There's no way you honestly believe that. For instance do you think it should be illegal for a daycare to not allow 20 year olds to enroll? Discrimination on age, check.
Specious example. The daycare service is not providing a service or doing business with the child, but with the child's parents. Should it be legal for them to refuse to enroll the child of black or gay parents?
Sadly that state of being was thrown out by Lincoln when he unilaterally declared war on some of the States. As he is considered one of your greatest Presidents it seems the vast majority of Americans agree on the federal power grab and now your country is at the present point.
Sadly, you're understanding of history is lacking. Lincoln did not declare war unilaterally. He did not declare war at all, since there was no foreign country involved. Additionally, it was the South that initiated the conflict by firing on a Federal military installation.
All of which has fuck all do to with why crackpot Christians should be able to force gay folk to the back of the bus.
Maybe if you tried it, you'd understand. Or even made the slightest effort to research online all the pretty fucking amazing things people have done with it.
I haven't seen anything 4k, but to say the difference in quality between blu-ray and a dvd is 'barely noticible' is silly unless you have seriously deficient eyesight. Plus, the additional cost is not really that much if you buy what you want intelligently.
I'm talking about a software DAW and I routinely handle projects with 30-45 or more tracks without the slightest latency problems. Not that many tracks at one time, but I can easily handle 16+ tracks live. And this is on an ancient G4 Mac Pro running OS9. OS X was designed from the ground up with audio in mind at a system level.

And some are not.
The PS4 is,
Low price point? The Xbone?
Maybe. Who knows what insurance would do when a 777 just disappears with no indication that it actually crashed.

The bottom line is the last thing these clowns are actually worried about. It's just cheap political theater that might get them on Fox News.

So you're fine with black people being denied service where ever they go, right? Freedom of fucking association and all that?

142 people all contributing 7 hours of coding on a single project. What could possibly go wrong??
Kind of why it's winning. Sony made a game machine for playing games. Funny how that works, innit?

She's fortunate they didn't just show up and shoot her out of hand, the way things are going these days.

Well...yeah, except for the part where the 'community' here is akin to a horde of rabid weasels.
Indeed Comrade. If you are innocent, you have nothing to fear!

If you're having trouble recording with a DAW due to latency, syncing tracks, etc. you're doing it wrong.
That's not true. GMs have many, many openings and endgames memorized.
