All this is good but it does not fix the biggest problem with phishing: The user cannot trust the website they are visiting.
A better solution would be a "I tell you , then you tell me". - The user visits a site (even if clicked from an e-mail) - The banks site presents the expected current number on the keyfob (maybe also the previous and next ones, to accomodate for time drift) - If number presented matches then user enters password with the next number on keyfob.
The process would take about 1 minute (just the time to wait for the next number sequence).
The user would know that the site is real and the bank would know that user is valid.
"In Linux, you have to recompile a kernel if you want to so much as change your modem!"
Where did he get this information? I can't stand it when writers make these outrageous claims in order to discredit Linux. You don't have to like it but don't lie about it.
Why is parent modded troll.

Or am I just used to IE crashing and infering too much?
You are forgetting that MS is discontinuing support for 2000 in a couple of months. There only desktop OS will be XP (until/if Longhorn).
Makes sense that this util only supports XP.
BTW, I have not RTFA.
They make it sound like people buying prebuilt Linux systems are basically pirates. We don't REALLY want Linux, we just want a cheap Windows box.
Not True!
Hah! I just switched back to Verizon from AT&T's Callvantage service. Sound quality was great...when you could actually hear something. On every call,I would get 20secs (yes I timed it and it was always the same) where I could hear the caller but they couldn't hear me.
Then the TA would disconect 5-6 times a day requiring that I call my wife on her cell to go unplug the darn thing and plug it back. She got really tired of doing that.
I ran it on a SpeakEasy (great company, BTW) DSL with 1.5/768 dedicated data line.
Nice as a second line. Wouldn't want to depend on it in an emergency.
Because some providers (Verizon) disable all the features on the phones that would allow you to upload the MIDI files to the phone, i.e. Bluetooth.
Event when you purchase the cable, the software does not come with any functionality for uploading the ringtone.
1- buy $50 cable 2 - find s/w on net that supports your phone 3 - read forums on how to tweak for your phone 4 - create midi file 5 - try to upload to phone 6 - screw up phone 7 - try again
Most users don't want to deal with this. So they just fork over the $2 and call it a day.
...even the FAQ on Infinium's website is "Coming Soon!"
It should probaly read:
FAQ1: When will your product be released?

Have you tried buying paper for that $200 printer. You'll spend twice as much as the cost of the printer on one wedding's prints.
