Wow. He wasn't driving. The car rolled onto him while he was outside of it.
Are you one of those stupid shits who moves somewhere and then stays completely oblivious to the local customs and way of doing things?
Really? Like whether people engage their parking brakes or not? Do you do a survey before you go or just check the Wikipedia article to make sure? Or maybe you just make shit up that sounds good in your own head. Based on your response here, I'd guess the latter.
I don't usually agree with you but I'm going to throw my hat into the ring on this one. I've seen a lot of shit all over the web about how the young in Britain are getting their future "stolen" by the older generation by this vote. Two things stick in my mind. First of all, what kind of ageist/classist shit is it to pretend that people that by mere virtue of having been around a little longer somehow should have less voice in their future. The idea repulses me. And the second, maybe those old geezers having been around the block a few times actually know a few things the young naive whippersnappers don't. Anybody every thought about that?
I've never had a life insurance company or used car salesman try to send me a cashier's check through Craigslist and call it "capitalism". I see where you're going and would like to respond but could you be more specific?
I can only speak for myself but I'm reading this on a screen with 450 or so DPI and I can't see the pixels no matter how close my face gets. Contrast that with my iPad mini 2 with the 326 PPI "retina" screen where I can definitely see the jagged edges on letters. So, for me, 1080p on a phone screen is indistinguishable from 1440p. If the letters are so small as to make a difference I doubt I'd be able to see them anyway.
I started on page one of the O'Reilly book Learning Python and, get this, wrote a flash card program that quizzed me on Python. The further along I got in the book, the better the program got. Had to start over three or four times to clean up the spaghetti but by the time it was all over I had a pretty good handle on what I was doing.
Since your comment is the most visible of this thread, I'll hang this here. I'm not affiliated with these guys and I don't make a dime from them but for computer parts, I've found superbiiz.com to be a good replacement for Newegg. Haven't had a problem yet and their prices are often lower.
I hesitate to comment sometimes since I unfortunately lack the wherewithal to spell everything out in excruciating detail but I'll leave the exercise of "port the app without cloning it to the point of requiring the negotiation of a license" to the gentle reader.
Yeah, I have a T420 here with a Sandybridge i5 in it and it competes with if not smokes anything I can buy today under $500. Wake me up in another 5 years and we'll see.
Agreed. When Linus was directly confronted about whether he has been approached about backdoors in Linux, he said no, but while nodding his head. What a trustworthy guy!
Are you familiar with the concept of national security letters Saying yes is the kind of action that makes you end up in a secret court where you aren't allowed to disclose any information to your lawyer. By saying no while nodding he has given us the information we need without breaking the gag-order.
Not quite. Since according to that bastion of conservative propaganda USA Today, female CEO average pay in fiscal year 2015 was about 50% higher than male average CEO pay (18.8 vs 12.7 million), it looks like that would be something like 47.3 million male failed CEO dollars.
Going to war with the consumers of your content is never the good plan.
I don't have a dog in this hunt and this question isn't an indictment of your position but I am curious if you consider loss prevention sensors and personnel at a store, say Target or Barnes & Noble as warfare against their customers. I realize the analogy isn't perfect but I try to see both sides of the coin and I can certainly understand how content producers on the internet would have an interest in making a living. I read a lot of free stuff online and I don't think I've ever actually clicked on an ad in my life but some people do so there's definitely a business model to be had.
driving an American car

In the Brexit vote, 43 years old is the crossover age for leaving vs. staying in. You seriously need to check your premise.
It seems to be a distinctly American
Anton Yelchin was a Russian born in Leningrad you dipshit.

Has this been independently verified by an impartial group or are you just going off of what MS says?
It's their platform. If they want to change it up, start charging or whatever, that's their right. People sure do whine a lot in 2016.
You would be wrong. Millions refers to any number between 1,000,000 and 999,999,999.

First post from Mars would probably end up being a GNAA troll. Which would be kind of awesome I guess.

But even though percentage wise the share is small, 2+ million phones in a quarter sure seems a fairly long way from dead
There are many reasons why you are wrong but I'll just pick on one. Where is the trend line going?
That's some low quality bait

Find a hot selling app for the iPhone that doesn't exist on Android and port it over. Or vice versa. You might even make some money in the process!
Core2's were socketed into motherboards that didn't support DDR3
I have an old Optiplex with a Core2Quad Q9300 in it using DDR3 memory. That being said, the 3570k in my main box destroys it.
What happens to the economy when this goes for everything else in life?
Oh, they'll figure out a way to make you pay more for the same shit. Ever been to Starbucks?

Eh. I expect she didn't KNOW it was math and assumed it was Arabbic, because, you know, squiggly lines and the state of American education.
The lady was from Wales.

This should be modded +10 informative.
I heard the taxes are very low there.
Does that explain the infrastructure problem?
What's that in MALE failed CEO dollars? 71 mil?

You will be. If you're lucky enough.
