Does anyone know why? Is that at all related to the case for patent disputes, or is it just because they're not selling that well?

If it's because of the patent disputes, that would be a shame. An innovative company losing money due to the U.S.' screwed up patent legislation...

And what he doesn't tell you is the reason for the tax on blank CD media. That's what allows Canada to have more liberal laws about copyrights on music. They use the taxes from that to compensate those who would claim loss by copying CDs.

And let's not forget that the last half (more than half, actually) of his post was simply trolling. Idiot trolling, too, since he neglected to mention what the tax on blank CD media is for. Probably he was spewing the obvious neo-con duckspeak (Hah! I've always wanted a 1984 reference!) that all democrats are evil. Who's the sheep now? And while Kerry had a C+, Bush had a C-. Congratulations. You might as well go have sex with a sheep, you're a sheep anyway.

Six months ago I received an e-mail that there was a reply to this bug I had posted (at that time) two years ago. I read it and, much to my surprise, they tell me that I should upgrade to the newest Gaim. Although I had stopped using Gaim two weeks after posting that, that was when I lost my respect for them. I had respected them for trying, but when they posted, two years later, telling me that I was supposed to upgrade... I laughed.

So please, until you know what you're talking about, don't open your mouth. And you (by you I mean the French) are obviously not immune to contempt or you would not have posted such a lengthy reply to what you wrongly viewed as contempt. In actuality, the only thing I hold contempt for is you (and this time I mean you, not the French) for being such a brain-dead idiot you can't tell a joke from... not a joke.
