  1. Blackberries..DOA on Is Daylight Saving Shift Really Worth It? · · Score: 0

heres a little story....RIM put out a DST patch that is supposed to be applied wirelessly to all our government clients. Low and behold it works just fine..for some...

Certain models and providers (we have telus for the ones that are dying) and the error is Data Error -Abort reset ...you have to physically take the blackberry and wipe it and reloaded the OS (application reload) using an app that is specific to each model/provider.

This happenned with my boss in another country and he is convinced the blackberry is no good even though it just needs a reset and reload. He has demanded a new one and will not accept that it just needs a reload, he says it is faulty and garbage and wants a new one (same model and specs and everything just refuses to use the old one).

    Thanks RIM! thanks USA!

Going from xp to vista i noticed a huge performance increase with the same hardware. Once NVIDIA gets off their ass and releases non beta drivers for motherboard and video im sure ill have some decent SATA performance as well. As it stands, its already much faster than xp for load times and frames per second (battlefield 2142)

they will ask for where you lived for 10 years, where you worked, their bosses names, your landladys names, your neighbours names, family members, where they work, who their bosses are, and these people WILL be visited one on one. criminal history, financial history, everything is under scrutiny.

they will ask you personal questions they know the answer to just to see if you change your story (or if you have a story). This is done each time for a renewal.

sorry but in Ontario, it is taught to flash high beams when approaching an oncoming car to pass in poor lighting conditions, i guess they had it wrong on my drivers test when i took my motorcycle test (you have to redo the car part even if you have a full licence, to get bad habits out of you). This is not an excuse to blind people by leaving them on, it is a simply high low flash and then you signal and pass

Projectors do have the drawbacks of being noisy (big fans to cool those bulbs!) and can cause distractions if youre sitting at certain angles from the light escaping the projector on the sides..blinding you...minor things however and we have been happy ...at work we run about 30-40 projectors of mainly infocus and proximas and the new ones are quite slick...however you do have to turn up the volume because the bulbs are extremely hot and the fans kick on often a cheap way to go though for HD (make sure to get an XGA or higher one)
