Exactly. I support ATI now primarily for that fact. After using them I realized that they are just more capable all around cards. Who cares which one is minutely faster? In the end it doesn't matter what card I play my games on, so why should they be shoving ads for nVidia down my throat?
Did you even go there? If you did, I'd have thought the naming convention and it's reasons would be fairly obviously, even if you didn't stumble upon the reason why the 1extra "T" was omitted.
To their defense... "reset this, reset that" support is how troubleshooting is done. you go from the simplest, easiest to remedy solution before going on to the more difficult ones. I wouldn't call that know nothing support. everything else, I whole-heartedly agree with.
Now I can cash out my savings, remove my limb and get one of these bad boys to hardware hack! I'm a put a chain on mine and be like Bionic Commando. And oh yeah, jerk mode.
... which involved a shape-shifting cyborg sex-tox that had been retro-fitted reprogrammed with combat AI and arms and was composed of smart dust that could formed an indefinite amount of shapes around a centralized core CPU. She was a piece of ass that could kick ass.
Where I work doesn't even allow us to turn off the lights and it enrages me so. We could save so much money by turning off these unnecessary lights that none of the graveyard shift workers want to have on anyway. There has never been a reason given for why they want them on, but the night shift has asked many times and stated that we'd all like to see some darkness during the week for a change (we do 12 hour shifts). It can't be a precaution to prevent us from sleeping because my boss already lets us take short naps in shifts if we require them, so I really don't see what the deal is with lights. Server rooms look so much cooler in the dark, anyway.
Oh, and I forgot to stay on topic and mention how 3 quadrillion dollar would help me do my mansion in wall-to-wall surfacesound.. or negrosound. Whichever one's cheaper.
Well, statistically anyway, the rate of survival from crashes should increase due to being in an enclosed space instead of in the open. Property damages, however, will likely increase as well.
You can change out cars as ofter as you like because the cars aren't going to become useless heaps of junk as soon as you take them off the lot. That's why leases have such long terms. If the car can be quickly and cheaply dismantled and then recycled there is less loss of value and therefore more incentive for the buyer to change up cars. Also, environmental standards could be changed more quickly because cars won't be kept around as long as they are currently.
We need them and there's not many reasons why we can't already have cars that are mostly disposable and/or recyclable. Instead of paying over and over again for the same thing every 2 to five years, automobile companies could offer contracts where you can get X many cars over Y many years. When you're done, you just take the car back to them and get another one and they take care of it. You still have the option of keeping one car if you want to, but for the overwhelming part of the population that tend to get new cars on a regular basis, this sort of situation could help out both the buyer and the manufacturer. The buyer doesn't loose all the value of his car when it leaves the lot and the manufacturer can recoup some of the cost of materials. People who like to keep their cars for a long time can do so with the satisfaction of mind that they can easily get rid of it once they're done.
Now that I'm about to travel between Mexico and the USA more frequently because I'm going to be taking my child to see its grandmother. I do NOT want to be on any list just because I go see my family members. I do NOT want my child or my wife to be on any lists either. I don't think that we need to match our names to any lists other than the ones that have already been established for many years in order to prove that we are not terrorists. Also, since it is stated in the article that they do not need any new means of collecting information, but rather the use of existing systems then why do you need to keep our records for 40 years after you determine that we are not a threat? You already have all the tools necessary to determine a person's threat level. Can't you use your tools to find the information again if you need it? This is bogus and vulnerable to large degrees of abuse and does not even reflect basic security standards. This doesn't have anything to do with security at all, no matter how much it gets dressed it up as a measure of protection. It's not hard to know where the vulnerable parts of the border are and there are simple, proven ways to defend them without having to scan every individual that come through them. That doesn't even make sens when you think about it: you don't need to scan everything, just scan what needs to be scanned. This reminds me of the first time I got malware on my PC and I knew nothing about security. I tried to scrutinize every bit of data that came through my internet connection, to make a firewall rule specifically for every possible scenario that could come about. what i didn't realize however, was that I was doing more work that I needed to do, needlessly exhausting my free time, and slowing down my system in my frantic effort to protect my system. I didn't know what I was doing. Now that I know better, I have a few simple rules that protect me and I don't immediately worry when I see a little unexpected port activity. Freaking out and going overboard is NEVER a good security policy.

thanks for the tip. If I could only get three of them to open up on any given street corner in my neighborhood I'd be glad to switch.
... dub thee Homer.
LOL I wasn't the one who modded you Flamebait. ...I would have chosen "Offtopic."
Thank you for pointing out how lame current generation games are by comparison to this ancient but awesome game.

Disable javascript for all but trusted sites.
It was actually made in reference to the NES game but yeah... that one'll doas well.

I can probably find a few copies laying around in here.
... of course you did say legally...
And that would be bad why?
Dude, my SNES has PENNIES rattling around in it and it still plays. There's no excuse for the crap we put up with on these over-priced consoles.

Damn straight, my brotha! And this lady can help us do it! ...once she gets that bajillion or whatever dollars, that is.
.. I had a copy of DEBUG.EXE sitting around on a floppy.

What? What? You want some?

Yes, because all the janitors have access to secure data centers and server rooms. You know nothing. Get outta here.

That's a feature. Good way to FORCE a shopper to buy something. In the brick & mortar store I used to work at we used krazy glue.
My old Everquest guild had one of those first Monday every month. Let's just say I didn't get too much questing done them days, knowwhudIUmean?
