I just bought a toaster and plugged it in, hmm wait I did not waste enough money, I just bought a redundant dishwasher and built it into the wall of my kitchen.
Buggy OS, Buggy Browser, Second rate search engine, Second rate maps, Second rate DB
First rate anti-piracy, screw working software that is too hard, just make sure every dime goes to preventing anyone from getting crapware for free.
My dual boot Fedora Core/XP is going to be pure FC4 when I get my hands on it, and I am going to move all my other systems to FC4 this weekend, I have been building customized Live DVD's for each to boot from and I will gain raw HD space not having a gig of patch files all the time. Less fuss less muss, and the hard part is getting my wife to drop Photoshop for The Gimp.
I am glad SOMEONE gets decent service from them. Honestly though, Comcast is hideous in my area because it setup cable service here early by comparison to much of the nation and they still have the lines from the 70's all over the infrastructure. They would rather excuse problems now rather than making a real investment in improving the problem. BTW you really need to check and see if the speed you are getting is 4M/256k because that is what they promise me and I am seeing a little over 1m/and under 128k on up speed.
If only there was ANY real broadband competition here, the price would be half what it currently is, and this Court decision removes any chance of that natural market pricing being allowed to happen.
I have to pay 65 bucks a month for poor uptime, rotten downspeed, a joke of 128k upspeed and no hope for it getting better at the moment.
All this ruling means is that Comcast has no competition in my area and no future chances of having a competitor. Don't think I am getting a ton of channels, extra's etc. Without comp, that is my base price, the absolute bottom of the barrel, for nothing but a net connection that is twice dialup and tests as 1.12 down.
It may be time for a change of government, vote Libertarian, all the dems and reps do is blame it on each other and screw the little guy.

Really though, is there ANYONE gasping in surprise, all companies tend towards monopoly activity unless someone/some government restricts them. I am honestly more bothered by WalMart than by M$.
Things like this only hurt dumb people, they tend to profit smart ones.
1. Wait for Joe AOLuser to figure out what BT is 2 years after everyone with a clue. 2. Wait 6 months for some to make his machine a viral mess 3. Wait for the call, and.......PROFIT!!!
My comcast cable connection which has a 128 up cap, and a rotten down of around 1.3 costs me $64.71 a month.
I am sick of whiny kids calling 60 a month expensive, depending on where you live you get raped on broadband regardless. Cincinnati I can get 5 times that speed for half that cost, Flint Michigan ( NOT THE HOME OF MICHAEL FATBOY MOORE) has two choices Yahoo/Sucky Bell Connection for too much money or Comcrap for too much money.
Los Angeles, 2009. The RIAA today announced that they have filed 9 "John Doe" IP based lawsuits against file sharers abusing the North Pole Hot Spot to download evil MP3 files. Using their powers under the CAN-RIGHTS law, they lauched a ICBM with 10 MIRV based 20 Megaton nuclear warheads.
This meets their new slogan, "The RIAA - Megatons for Megabytes!"
Anyone who has ever studied the record business knows that it is being ran by, or ran by people with the same ethics of the mob. Every action they take is straight from that mindset.
No one can state that the record companies are being ran in a legal manner and expect anyone to believe them. I ask all of you to write a letter to your representatives demanding an investigation into the accounting and business practices of the RIAA members. They have an effective monopoly and claim to be losing billions, this is a clear sign that something is wrong.
And that same heating event from 800 to 1200AD is what allowed the rapid expansion of population in Europe right before the Black Death kicked in in the 1300's.
Europe had pushed back its boundaries, cut its forest, reduced no farmed space to almost nothing and labor was so cheap that the feudal system worked great, then they lost between 30 and 60% of the population and the entire renaissance occured as labor cost more than bodies for once.
So who knows, maybe this is a logical part of the cycle.
I have to wonder how this could be a crime, Blizzard has defined all content on the WoW servers as their property therefore they can go afvter the scumbags resselling it on Ebay. Sony has always had the same stance and no company has said that you own your characters or their gear. So the only person with a valid legal complaint in light of this is the company producing Lineage.
Not to mention that this being Lineage, he will just start the macro going and return in a month to have anything he wants available.
That makes sense but my gut instinct tells me that the spammers are going to start a blog site and offer free accounts, reduced rate domain redirection and decent bandwidth while NOT putting the nofollow tag on the system.
Okay, can someone more capable than I write a firefox extension that automatically blocks any link with a nofollow tag from even appearing in the browser?

I bet no one gives a damn about that either.
/sarcasm (but not total) on Has someone contacted CPS to have this old biddy arrested yet? My Gods, Do it for the CHILDREN!
It appears the KKK has a serious interest in KDE, I have to wonder if they think it stands for Klan Desktop Environment.

Exactly!
He attacks me for a typing error because I attacked him for an error of logic.
IANAL BIPOOTI ( But I Play One On The Internet )
I have to assume you are too ignorant to breath. RTFA it says you gain credits for them using your bandwidth.
I bet you run XP without security updates.

Pretty People sell better than Ugly ones!
Makes sense we have a Chippendale Dancers, not Chubendales. I hate it when the logical and factual is presented as new thought.
Well it could be HTML/Web Pages, but it should be Open Source Software and the Wonder Bra.
http://www.knightonlineworld.com/ Decent game, better than EQ on initial release.
