Prices are the same if you don't include tax.

Apple can't reduce its prices by 20% to account for your 20% sales tax. (or whatever the rate may be)

Then again, currency fluctations may also account for some difference. But if you're outside of the US, that should be helping you.

  7. Re:I agree Patriotic like Petain and Quisling on Moore Approves Fahrenheit 9/11 Downloads · · Score: 2, Insightful

Moore is against things, rather than for things. That's the main problem I have with him. He's a bomb thrower, not a provider of solutions.

Instead, he should have made a movie about what a wonderful president Kerry will make? Moore has been there when people in positions of power have strayed far from doing what is good for society. Sometimes people in power need to be told to stop doing something, just like a little kid doing something naughty needs to be told, "No, thats bad." Moore prefers to stay outside of politics - I think we can all relate to not wanting to get our hands dirty there. To stay true to one's self seems near impossible when you're a politician. Also, Moore does have his goals - vote bush out. Hell, if Kerry would be as bad as bush, i would expect to hear Moore speaking out against him as well.

If you look into the facts, Moore stays much closer to them than Limbaugh does. Moore states that F9/11 is an op/ed piece, but he'll also defend every fact he states in that movie. Limbaugh on the other hand, is someone who speak out for family values while getting three divorces himself. Someone who claims to tell the truth despite having an elaborate drug addiction.

Yes, I'm sure you've heard horror stories about ipod problems but they're actually quite rare - dare you to find a product that doesn't have horror stories. Even the battery issue is overblown. You can pick up higher capacity replacement batteries that even ship with a tool to open the ipod. Its really not that much worse than installing RAM.

I have heard much anecdotal evidence about couples in their 20s where the woman has to basically act like pornstar in the bedroom in order to interest the guy at all because he's become so desensitized to sex by all the pr0n he's been seeing since he was 16.

I just don't believe it. Men aren't horny anymore unless there's midgets fucking cement mixers? Now, maybe the women are getting some ideas from porn, but to say that it was necessary to keep these men interested in sex is a bit ridiculous.
