As for wasting time with the manual, they have some decent cardboard sheets with the various gestures all listed. The gestures are a nice little add on(and I did waste lots of time customizing them,:), but the primary function of being a mouse and a keyboard on one surface doesn't require any manual, really. You just hold two fingers down and move around to be a mouse and single finger touches for keystrokes.

Now I am contemplating the same question as the original post in addition to having to switch to a sane ISP that actually provides me with an actual connection to the internet.

Why would you take a recruiter seriously? Many of those folks are simply parasites; insinuating their way in as middle men through dishonest tactics because they aren't really needed in an age where it is so easy to match people with folks that want to pay them to do jobs.
One of the largest bottlenecks to finding jobs today seems to be that these headhunters have convinced companies to hide the fact that they need someone combined with the headhunters clogging up the places for employers to communicate to potential employees! It's absurd in most cases where rare specialists are not required.

The New York Times held off publishing the story about Bush authorizing wiretaps on US citizens without warrants for a whole year at the request of the White House.
Incidentally, wasn't the White House being responsible for wiretaps on US citizens without warrants one of the major components of the Watergate scandal?;)
