    Military optics are specially coated to protect from eye damage from the 633nm "ruby red" laser in military rangefinders. It wouldn't make sense to coat amateur astronomy gear with that. So probably no worries on being detected by a drone because of your astronomy equipment.

    BES is easily matched by Google Apps. Our org has been using Google Apps + Android for almost 2 years. Would never go back. Google Apps is somehow ultra powerful, fast & simple all at the same time.

    Marketing genius? The better move would have been to wait till the very day that Google headlines with "G+ out of Beta. Available to the Masses". Then when Zuck quits it makes the same side-by-side headlines with Google's press release. Would have been much more effective. Zuck blew his load too soon.

    Yea, no kidding. After reading an article about a sick pedophile trying to frame his neighbors my first thought was, "I could have done that in a fraction of the time." Quite reassuring to know everyone else on /. thought the same thing.

    Yea, good point. 0bama already showed us how to solve this problem. If we just Tomahawk'd them all to death that would eliminate anybody dying of heat stroke. And make sure to emphasize that this brilliant solution was brought to you by the fine folks at NATO. So don't blame 0bama if it seems like a totally nutty idea.

    Yeah, goodness. Maybe if all the lazy IT support and testing staff would quit trolling /. and get back to their job we could get back to the original topic here. Code Reviews by coders who know how to write code reviewing each other's code. Not UI crap, or testing in general.
