Or better yet, Wynonna Judd as Wonder Woman! Just imagine her unleashing her big southern ass of truth on her foes!

  2. Life Sucking Boredom on Large Publishers Pointing to High Prices · · Score: 1

To be honest, most video games only interest me for a few hours. Either game quality needs to come up or prices need to come down. There have been extremely few games that I've felt were worth $50 in the last few years.

For me, it isn't a price issue. I would love to buy an Ngage, however, only one cell provider offers it as an option. And that isn't my carrier (verizon). The fact that so few carriers picked it up really hurt it more than anything.

  7. Re:How do you know it's overheating? on Monitoring Your Laptop's Health? · · Score: 1

My guess is that by "overheating" he is referring to "overheating causing to laptop to automatically shut down". Check your user manual. You may be obstructing an important vent during use. One thing that I have noticed, new laptop users sometimes don't realise that you can't obstruct the vents. Apple builds their vents in places you can't obstruct them, but everyone else puts them in places less well thought out (I've even seen them on the bottom of a laptop).

  8. Re:Sad, isn't it? on GlobalFlyer Completes Record-Breaking Flight · · Score: 1

It is encouraging to me actually. You see, this nonstop solo flight isn't useful. To anyone. Ever. Flying accross the atlantic was a major feat because it was something people wanted to be able to do. No one ever wants to fly out of kansas ONLY TO RETURN 60 HOURS LATER EXCEPTIONALLY TIRED. 50 years from now, no one will be loading up cargo and passenger planes and flying around the world without refueling.

If I were you, I would consider an area like Detroit. We have large immigrant communities. And there are several large Japanese businesses (mostly auto) here that are always looking for multilingual employees. I would highly consider Windsor, Ontario as well which is accross the river from downtown Detroit.

Mac's come standard with easy to use HD movie editing. While not a complete whizbang big budget movie editor, they certainly get the job done in a profressional looking manor. And with Mac's starting at $499 now, it will probably be cheaper than purchasing editing software.

You actually SHOULD go so far as to state in the contract that all content MUST validate against W3C standards in one of the "strict" modes. If they even bat an eye when you request this, I would seriously be suspicious in the quality of their work. This will help insure that your investment in your website will work with future browsers for as long as possible.
