  1. Types of movies on Would You Like Some Fries With That Download? · · Score: 5, Funny

Mabey they could earn workout videos as downloads. If they have to visit a fast food joint 20 times to get the video, then they could watch their video to lose the calories they just racked up!

That info could also clear you of a crime.

It could also be used as your alibi. Say I leave my cell home and then go rob a bank. No officer it wasn't me, I was at home. See, my cellphone records show me to be home.

It should not be a suprise to anyone that somthing like this was comming. Among other things, Intel for years misled the general public to belive that Mhz = POWER!!
AMD has insisted that it's lower clock speed chips can do as much as the higher clock speed Intel counterparts.
Funny how Intel no longer is focusing on clock speed now that they are having trouble breaching the 4Ghz barrier.
I just hope that Intel gets what they deserve.

So what would qualify as 'E'? I guess puzzle games (not Super Puzzle Fighter, though) and stuff like Mary Kate and Ashley games.

I don't know about you but Mary Kate and Ashley games are NOT for everybody!

The only way that the **aa can be certian a file is illegal is to download the thing and play it. If they use a hash to identify it then its possible that a file can have the same hash and contain a completely diffrent bit pattern. I'd really like to see the outcome of one of these people who gets sued and stands up for themself in court rather than just bending over and taking it. I have a feeling that one could beat the charges with resonable doubt.

How can you be sure that the file you identified from IP address ZYX was infact XYZ? Do the people searching these files download them all and listen/watch the entire thing to make sure that they have an illegal file?

Sounds to me that this kid used the game as an escape from reality. Did the game make him pull the trigger? NO! He did that all by himself. Is sony to blame for his death? No more than who ever sold him the gun. However, I would like to see online content providers (games , email etc..) start to include some next of kin clause. In the event of your death or you are declared missing etc.. (some extranious condition that can be proved in court) a person that you name on account creation would be given access to your data. There have been numerous cases of situations like this popping up. Undoubtedly more are to come.

We are in a time period of blaming everyone else for our problems. Personally, I spent the time protecting myself and my network from issues. Yeah, they could probably still come through but I have at least closed most of the holes that I know of. If you are on the Internet without a hardware router/firewall and using software without a software firewall and surfing the web without virus protection and Spyware detection I really don't feel sorry for you.

I'll second that. How many times have people been told "don't open email attachments!" Yet these viruses are spreading even more!! If you leave your car door unlocked and a laptop on the car seat, don't be shocked to find it's not there when you come back. There are common sense things that we should all do, and the same applies in the computer realm.
