No problem. Sometimes people just need to check their assumptions.

I still think this is a flaw in the tracker protocol; if I registered through a proxy and it used the proxy's IP address, then the proxy wouldn't know how to forward incoming requests to me. Does this mean you get zero torrent uploads just be going through a proxy? Also, if no one can actually download the content the tracker is advertising you as having, then no one is really guilty of "making available" copyrighted content, and there should be no case. I agree with others that they should actually attempt a download before filing court papers. Is it a violation of copyright law to advertise copyrighted content for free when you are never actually providing it? Sounds like simple fraud to me, but since nothing of value has actually changed hands, again it doesn't appear actionable.

For endurance sports, I suspect your performance is limited by your bodies ability to remove lactic acid from your system, in which case having 40% more muscle mass wouldn't help -- there would be 40% more lactic acid. For pure strength sports such as weightlifting this would be an advantage -- up until your muscles become strong enough to break your own bones or tear your own tendons. For body builders, using this would be a no-brainer. I've always advocated that, like snowmobile racing, all sports should have "unmodified" classes where enhancements are banned and "supermodified" classes where anything goes. Get caught doping, you (and your records) just get automatically moved into the supermod class.

Objective C != C++, although both are based on the C programming language. Still requires a rewrite, although less of one, since the C code can remain the same. Runtime environment is still completely different, and multitasking is handled differently.

Can you really register someone else's IP address? Why not modify the trackers to only allow registration of the IP address that is the source of the request? (Or am I misunderstanding how the nodes communicate with the tracker? If it's UDP I suppose you could forge the headers; why not require a confirmation message with a unique hash code be sent to and echoed back by each registered node?)

There are over 1.3 Billion Chinese. Even if a very small percentage of them are creative, they should still be out-inventing every other country in the world. Obviously, the majority of them are better at copying. This might be due to an educational system that stresses rote memorization and discourages independent thought. My experience with Taiwanese CS grads was that they were very good at doing exactly what you told them to do, but if an unexpected situation came up, they were reluctant to handle it on their own. Of course, that is a generalization based on a very small sample set, so it doesn't apply to all Chinese.
