Really, I think it's just the total lack of real content in the post. DX3 is a big deal, even after the disappointment that was IW, but ... All this trailer has is some images that people have taken the time to freeze frame. The only relevant detail is 2027, and even that gives us little.

I think, if I can get an FTP client that can either be run off a USB disk or an installation can just be copied from computer to computer, I can at least throw stuff onto my space on TVH. I know kriatyrr had a bunch of that sort of thing ... So ask spoon to ask her for me, please?

After that, I might want to try some magic with a certain variety of Live CD ... Ubuntu (Yay for grabbing about 3 live/install sets when I met spoon awhile back). Spoon and Kria have used it, and you're the resident linux guru. So... yeah. I'll need some support through this. My ingenuity and googling can only go so far. And now, you hopefully see this.

Final Fantasy 4 has a great fantranslation of the Japanese vesion which has all the stuff that was taken out for the English version (abilities and items) and has a better translation and no censoring! Though, hey, without the original, we'd never have "You Spoony Bard!" which has to be one of the best lines ever.

Amen to DQ5 being a good game, though. I didn't like some elements of it (3 people in your party? Bah!), but the plot of the game was incredible. I loved how it spanned a generation and worked off that.... Though I really shouldn't say some of things I was going to, as I'm not sure how far you are... DQ6 is a very fun game too, and I found it overall better than 5.

This is a great site for fan translations of games. I prefer having the original game and patching it myself instead of relying on ROM sites doing it for me, as who knows about the quality or freshness of their patch job. IPS patching is pretty easy stuff. Zophar used to be where I got most of my stuff from, but they've REALLY been slow on updates as of late.

Actually, I should clarify. The students got into admin accounts onto THEIR laptop, which were local accounts. They couldn't do anything on any administrative servers or anything of that nature. We didn't want the admin password out, but no real changes could be made, except to the laptop. Students would change settings they had no clue about and we had to fix them was one of the largest annoyances, and that's about it. Most of the times we would just reimage the computers if they had done a lot (Oh, you had work on the laptop? Oh, sorry.... Our teacher/overseer for the class was a tad on the evil side, and we picked up on that... As if we weren't already.). Reimaging took about an hour per laptop, and were done off external HDD, that we had 3 of. We later got Powermac G5s running on the school's network that we could do (wired) network reimaging.
