  1. Houston we have a problem on What If the Apollo Program Had Continued? · · Score: 1
America is going in the wrong direction. The Apollo missions were one of many highlights of America at its peak. Now U.S. schools barely prepare kids to be service workers, not scientists or engineers. America doesn't teach industrial education very much anymore (why bother when other countries with lower costs of living offer the same products at cheaper rates).

There are so many reasons why America as the world once it is coming to an end.

Agreed that the quote is a bit dramatic. Considering the unmeasurable pain his mass thievery caused (suicides notwithstanding), death isn't out of the question in my mind. As is, he'll spend 5-10 years in a minimum security holding room (after he's transferred from the PR max security prison) before he expires in relative comfort. At the very LEAST this man should be forced to spend the rest of his existence locked in a pen with the other rapists and child molesters.

That is righteous anger. Madoff WILL be transferred to a min. security holding center - which is a far cry from the cell pictured elsewhere. He'll have phone, TV, hell probably golf and god knows what else his friends in high places will provide. Madoff got off with a slap on the wrist. He may ought to be hanged.

Like everything else, you get what you pay for. If Americans want to continue buying cut-throat cheap goods from third world manufacturing plants, they are going to find out in the next 5-10 years that they themselves have become a third world state. I don't think protectionism is good, but America is the only country that is nailed to the wall for these policies. Say nothing of China limiting exports of coke, iron, zinc and other materials needed to make steel (thereby increasing the cost to steel factories worldwide), or devaluing their Yuan to give their manufacturers a foot up on the world..

Some advice from the video? Place newspaper ads with vague, but extremely hard to meet requirements. The idea is to fulfill requirements that show they are looking/have looked for a U.S. worker before hiring a H1-B worker.
