ferrari dont care about bugatti, ben sherman dont care about burbury, sony dont care about philips... but they are in compotition, as is the nature of business..
Moore's 'documentaries' put words into peoples mouths, twists facts.. and try to force people to think the way moore thinks.. which is pretty much going right against what he claims to be standing for.
many things in our past have been imposible. like flight its self, or space flight.. but, here we are, doing it now. this is just another thing in the long like of things that are imposible, for us to make posible.
the matrix is older than pirates, its been available longer on dvd, and all 3 have been on tv a few times now. everybody is sick of it. i wonder why pirates sold better.
this is OLD news, it was on the bbc news site about 2 months ago, and a week later, it was cleared up... NO SUCH THING is going to happen. this is just some journalists day of fame, on a story they have mostly made up.
these "security experts" didnt want to pay for vista, they arnt the type of people who would be on the beta program, so they obviously pirated the RC2 copy, why not do the same for the final? because what they found doesnt work in the final version of vista, so they released all this and tagged it with RC2, just for a pure "look what i did" factor.
when i did comp sci, i had to learn pascal, posibly the most boring language ever created. i had to learn about DFD's, also boring. i had to learn about the OSI 7 layer model, boring. i had to learn about a systems life cycle, again, boring.
if comp sci lectures taught something interesting, like how networks actualy work, not just the 30 year old theory behind it, or taught programming using a language that is usefull, or taught how computers are built, or how they physicaly work, people would enjoy it more because its interesting, and its usable knowledge (applicable to real life), what they are currently teaching is not.

gpl tells me what a MUST and am FORBIDDEN to do, with my own code. BSD tells me i must keep the licence... there is a vast difference
im forbidden to use gpl code in a closed application, i MUST release all my source code if i use gpl code in my application.
free licence ehh? and it forbids people from doing stuff? and tells them they MUST do other stuff?
didnt Kutaragi step down a few weeks ago? and slashdot already report on it?
isnt this somewhat similar to sim city?
its the same public as any other public thing like this... the general public can get an invite. but cannot walk in from the streets.
now, i wonder if they are going to do the same to slashdot for linking to the same thing?
...set of lies and twisted "truths" from this nutjob, who wouldnt know the actual truth if it came up and bit him.

the majority of slashdot readers will only have the magnifying glass

wouldnt the IPCB or ICANN just take the microsoft.ms domain off you if you bought it?
prior art, the xbox... also, "unbreakable" password is pretty much public/private key RSA... so, how can tivo patent this, when its RSA's tech?
in the uk, its illegal to use a phone at all while driving. why isnt this the case everywhere else?
the first two words that came out of my mouth after reading the article where "fuck off"..
there is no way in hell they could ever make this stick
i think i will use it if... the passwords, and out going mail servers, are handled in a normal way.
ie, dont have 1 global outgoing server, and passwords are easily managable per account, and can be set up when setting the account up.
what about the rest of us, who already have DVD players? we have to buy all new ones, to watch sonys new DVD's?
...i hate bees

Blood money. the AI is insane, even at the lower levels.

Can arresting and imprisoning someone for blogging their opinions, be justified?
