I got one. check slickdeals.net in the Hot Deals Forum, they list them there quite often. I got a SC420 w/ P4 2.8 HT, 256MB DDR2, PCIx and an 80GB sata drive for $320 shipped.
I built mine out of an old amd k6-2 350 Mhz NLX system running gentoo, using an old SB0090 audigy sound card (alsa) and a 1/8" mono to rca adapter for the digital (gotta use mono for that) audio output. xmms is good stuff. For the next step in my project I plan to use the built in IR port and an old palm VII for playlist control.
asteriskathome.sourceforge.net and a spare pc, with a modem from ebay for about $8-12 after shipping. the bootable ISO image (once burned to a disc, of course;) will take a hard drive and set it up from scratch.
check out http://asteriskathome.sf.net/ they have a downloadable iso image which will build an asterisk system on Centos linux, and it is compatible with modems you can get for about $8 USD each on ebay.
turbotax online will also save your data from year to year so if you are still working for the same company, it automatically fills in information for you. Makes it 3 times faster IMHO...

Here's a stereotype... people who whine about linux users and advocates seem to always be windows weenies who have an assload of money tied up in microsoft education and training and who don't want to see linux cutting into their job security.
it isn't racism, it is stereotyping. French people are not comprised of a single race, same for Americans. A US company starts scanning volumes of text in our predominant language, so what?
I see your point... I being a lower level (33THF/20WAR/11BST/5WHM) have noticed though the increases in value for some items over the last several months, like crystals and such, and it has afforded me better gear... It will be interesting to see how it plays out...

DNA samples stored as a backup plan. Stem cell research and cloning wouldn't sound so atrocious to many if they were awaiting an ELE.
gravel/ bird shot would burn up in the atmosphere before it hit the ground, at most we'd get a nice dusting of ash I think.

I hate gil-sellers and I am glad they got banned. Maybe the economy on my server will get back to normal.
My favorite way of euthanizing an old pc is to update the bios, and in the middle of the write, kill the power.
