    I just checked Go Daddy's website. It seems that they've lowered it to $7 a year. Not great, but better than $9.

    your site cannot be indexed by any search engines if it's navigation is entirely flash based. No search engine in the world is going to evaluate your flash files or run your AJAX scripts in order to attempt to crawl the site.

    Some folks like it that way.

    Well, you know how reticent they are towards adapting to new technologies. Sure, a small innovation here (1.1) or there (1.5.2), but moving on to a new version took a big leap. That leap was iTunes.

    Sure does. Look at your Beatles CD's. The Beatles started the label, so as long as they're still around, Apple Recs will be.

    Well, I know that I've walked out of a theatre a few times wanting to immediately get a DVD and see the movie again. On occasions such as those, I'd certainly have the desire to buy it right then and there.

    And as a musician, this is a concern for me. How long will my CD's last? I hope to someday be able to purchase a record cutter. Vinyl LP's will last a very long time if stored properly. Look at the vintage vinyl industry. Beatles records from the 60's are still playable 40 years on, but CD's made in the 80's may already be subject to CD rot.

    They haven't changed the default, at least as far as I see. The one that I downloaded still defaulted to MSIE, so I changed it manually. But I guess if it's still ID'ing as Opera either way, that shouldn't really matter.

    They're also still charging for "Premium Support," roughly the same price as the registration fee. And of course, the forementioned other platforms (eg, cell phones).
