    This isn't a spotify/rdio etc competitor. It's just a network music player for Steam. That's all. A dude at valve who likes listening to music while playing videogames probably really wanted to continue listening to music while playing videogames on SteamOS

    The problem with this (along with other plans), is that if you get amnesia and forget your password, there may be the chance that you forget where you stored your password as well. So, to be a good plan, it has to involve you either stumbling on to it quickly, or having someone / something tell you it once they get news that you have amnesia.

    deflector shields (which was emitted by the deflector dish) which were low powered and meant to deflect small particles and radiation, and defensive shields which were to protect against weapons and were emitted by various shield emitters on the hull. The summary really badly conflates the two.

    I imagine the camera API is the biggest reason they went 4.0+ only. Putting version wrappers around all that junk is probably not fun. ABS is fairly rock solid, so I wouldn't really consider that that much a reason to hold back 1/3 of the android market.

    You could also argue that all the actions that the player does is copyrighted by the player, but Nintendo still has a large stake in the copyright of the final product.

    It's a shared copyright. All the art is very much owned by Nintendo. The addition of commentary adds an additional copyright owner of the commentator, but since the footage definitely is full of Nintendo copyrighted material, they could easily be within their rights to have it removed. Basically, they've given these playthrough video makers a choice, either give Nintendo all the ad revenue, or take down the video that contains their copyrighted material.

    Chris Hadfield is a Canadian (working for the CSA). I'm sure that Chris would like more people to want to go in to space and become scientists, etc. If you look at his previous videos though, I would say this is pretty in line with the other stuff he's done (just with more effort in to it).

    by "slowly phase out," i mean each individual browser (for now just chrome & derivatives) will make the decision on their own time when to remove the webkit tag. probably when blink and webkit have diverged significantly.
