Kaprielian said the Registry gives drivers enough time to respond to the suspension letters and that it is the individual’s “burden’’ to clear up any confusion. She added that protecting the public far outweighs any inconvenience Gass or anyone else might experience.
“A driver’s license is not a matter of civil rights. It’s not a right. It’s a privilege,’’ she said. “Yes, it is an inconvenience [to have to clear your name], but lots of people have their identities stolen, and that’s an inconvenience, too.’’
You don't have permission to use code in any way you see fit unless you have a license to do so. In the same way, I have several dvds, but I don't have permission to post them all over the Internet.

There was a Pi Day post, so you can be discriminatory and not have a Tau Day post.
There is no Windows 7 upgrade price. You buy a copy of windows 7. No difference between an upgrade and a new install. Also, I believe when XP upgrades existed, they were valid for everything above Windows 95? Someone could correct me.
My guess is that a large amount of music is fingerprinted either by the labels or identifiable because there are probably not that many unique rips of music out there, so most copies can be identified as downloaded. I would definitely read a EULA before letting apple scan your music.
In the article, it's extremely hard to parse whether the US attorney in question is Cisco's US based attorney or a US gov't attorney. Who am I supposed to be mad at?

not necessarily. you can use an existing employee as an unwitting vector by infecting an employee's pc who transfers work documents back and forth between work and home via usb key.
so not just no internet access, you also need defined protocols for any media used
I imagine that a throat slit really just feels like a deep cut. Not actually that painful. Blood rushing out causes a drop in blood pressure and temperature causing you to feel a little cold while you pass out. I think it would feel like if you gave too much blood. A simple cut will not be that much more painful, especially compared to a low powered rifle (maybe not a high powered one?)
According to m-w, both he and his hand are bionic.
Definition of BIONIC
1
: of or relating to bionics
2
a : having normal biological capability or performance enhanced by or as if by electronic or electromechanical devices
b : comprising or made up of artificial body parts that enhance or substitute for a natural biological capability "a bionic heart"
I did it for fun, just because newer Javascript Engines are fast enough to do complicated things. Real use could be:
Benchmarking of Javascript engines (how much time takes your Javascript engine to boot Linux ?). For this particular application, efficient handling of 32 bit signed and unsigned integers and of typed arrays is important.
Client side processing using an x86 library, for example for cryptographic purposes. For such application, the x86 emulator can be modified to provide an API to load x86 dynamic libraries and to provide a js-ctypes like API to call the C/C++ functions from javascript.
A more advanced version would allow to use old DOS PC software such as games.
Did you read the article? While this isn't the same as a raised button, it is definitely a form of tactile feedback. I think the biggest issue with this form though is that it only appears to work for one finger.
Yup, works fine on machines running flash. Supposedly Netflix is making a player for ChromeOS machines though.
most sources seem to cite that harry potter was a 3d conversion and was filmed in 2d.
Exactly. You have a right to a hearing, and you don't have to pay your fine before the hearing, or any fine at all if you are found innocent.

There can only be one.
I believe both Amazon and iTunes as well as others would gladly take your money legally for streaming video rental.

Yeah, individual apps might be keyboard friendly, but OSX itself is far from it. I would say it's worse than linux in that regard.
I thought it meant Weird Al takes on Pac-Man.
I would not consider a JS library for 3DS web games to be considered homebrew.
To be a little bit more informative is a low profile monitoring tool for production environments running .NET mvc.

Doesn't it just come down to breach of contract on the part of the employees that Google poached?

so it's probably still pretty cold for us? maybe hoth-like?

Doesn't gasoline exist in the crude oil? We're not making gasoline, we're distilling it out of crude.

CNET is owned by CBS. CBS is being sued, not doing the suing.
