Oops. Misread the website name. I did miss the attribution at the bottom of the article. However, I would say that at least, the slashdot summary should relink or not specify that Liana Davis wrote in Watching the Watchers, and at the very most, they didn't accurately follow the attribution clause if Hugh Pickens easily mistook Liana Davis as a writer for that blog.

Even outside of all the nontextual stuff that would be lost, I'm not even sure what some of the letters are. They look very ambiguous. Who should decide what letter it actually is? I think it's less helpful to provide a plain text format, because then you could possibly be leading people who would be helpful down an incorrect path.
I started with the first season of the modern ones. Hooked me, and now I've seen all the modern ones as well as the specials. I would suggest the same thing. The older ones move much slower.
Speak for yourself. It will not be an improvement for all existing customers. If you live in Manhattan (or inside other major cities, rather than the suburbs), you get the fastest data speeds (HSPA+), and the only drop calls are when you're talking to someone on ATT or going too deep into the subway. Merging with ATT means 4x the number of customers of T-Mo sitting on probably only twice as many backhauls. Previously the pipes were not crowded when you were a t-mobile customer, now they will full of iPhone users.
why are we separating by country? the internet is an international community. We all go to the same slashdot.org, why would you want to make it slashdot.org.us?
who are their owners, exactly? because they are not electable, they shouldn't have to answer to anyone. are you saying they get payouts? is there any record of this?
The genetic data he is making public domain are the 1 million SNPs that 23andme.com compile. SNPs are the 1% that is different from person to person and this is just 10% of that 1%. So it does not cover the 99% of DNA that is the same between people.
I think the it would have to be a third party company that the consumer and the bank would both need to trust. Like how we trust verisign to prove the identity of an https provider.
I don't think it's a good solution, though.
If only there was a way to get individual channels that you want to watch a la carte without having to buy a full package worth of crap...
How many home routers support IPv6?
This sounds suspiciously like the plot of Batman Forever.
99% of the comments on the wordpress post are exactly like yours. Everyone is treating it like it's not even a problem.
Oof. I stand informed.
Are you positive GoDaddy is being picked on because of the hunting thing? There are definitely many more reasons to not trust the security of GoDaddy.

I'm not sure what Watching the Waters is, but this article is an exact copy of what's in the wikimedia blog.

Zynga can sell them to you through Zynga. You can't sell them through Zynga.

It's like a student cheating on his homework by copying the smart kid. It will only work as long as the smart kid sticks around.
Can someone explain the disadvantages of SRBs? Is it just that they are more explosive?
