  1. Re:Do nentendo still sell the games? on FBI Cracks Down on Piracy of Obsolete Game · · Score: 1

Also I believe that they are talking about all those "Consoles" that you plug into the TV that have like 20 games on them that are all nintendo games... They speak of a distributor... They are not talking about just pulling the games out and reselling them they are talking about distributing them new and not liscencing(sp?) them

But that is only if he is talking about all of the Linux based OSs I think that this guy hasn't tried to deal with MS lately I just tried to transfer a copy of XP from one machine to another with a full install disk not preinstalled on a machine and they tried to go against their own EULA stating that you can move an install internally onto a machine as long as you completely remove it from the prior machine... Section 4... I think that when people start running into this problem they will finally get fed up and ditch MicroShaft...

Well I think to everyones Chagrin that we are going to see something amazing in this post... As Of January of 2004 GBA had sold a meager 299,000 units... this is the benchmark comparison that we should be looking at in the handheld wars yes the GBA of all current Generation Handheld systems is the weekling... but what you have to look like is that it is the True Nintendo Handheld. Next the DS is an intermediary handheld the Next Gameboy will be what we should base our opinions of the Nintendo Gameboy/Sony PSP fight about. Because the DS is a seperate System not A gameboy Opening week for the Nintendo DS 800,000 GBA's sold... now that is 800,000 units sold to the public in a week and that is of a unit that is how old... I think that we should all wait to see what Nintendo has in their sleeves before we actually call the PSP a success I mean seriously Nintendo when they put out the first Gameboy went against the PSP of Old the full color LCD Sega Game Gear and what ever happened to that a 2 color GameBoy killed it off... I don't know people I don't think Nintendo is done yet.. sure the DS is an awesome system but it is a system that while it is doing better than what it's older brother the Nintendo VirtualBoy anyone remember that... The VR Headset GameBoy that came out after the Gameboy Pocket and The Gameboy color if I remember the time frame correctly...

How about the fact that the GBA SP comes backlit and with a flip down "Cover" for 100 and you can get a new game for $30

I don't know if you have heard but there has been an announcement from Microsoft corroborated by IGN that Age of Empires is on it's way to the DS... Now all we need is some Starcraft especially when Nintendo drops the bomb with saying we are enabling our Internet connection in the DS with this game.... could you see 16 people in the same building beating on each other zerg rushes and all...

For those people who bought the PSP and looking at their line up and seeing that most of the games out now and alot of them coming out soon are just rehashes why don't we just go out and get a revision 2 PS2 and a portable screen for the same price that one could pay for a PSP you could get a better graphics driver than the PSP and could have a huge library I mean All then that would need to be done would be buying an AC/DC converter and you could take the PS2 with you on your trips... sure its a little larger but heck toss it in a back pack and grab yourself a motorcycle battery and you have yourself a portable PS2... for the same price as the PSP... $100 Playstation 5" Screen $150 NEW Playstation 2 $10 AC/DC Car Converter $35 Motorcycle Battery Sure it's a bit heavy at 12 lbs or so but hey then you'd be getting excercise and playing the games...

  7. Question for those who have bought a PSP already on PSP Launch Coverage · · Score: 1

I just had a revelation when I went to BestBuy today If I was to buy a PSP I would get next to nothing... or I could walk into BEstbuy and buy a Playstation 2 and a 5" LCD Screen and an AC/DC converter for my car and have multiplayer fun in the car for the price of 1 PSP... the screen would be larger the unit as powerful and the games more plentiful I would have no reason to worry about my Square button and wouldn't have to pay for UMD cards to save your games... maybe it's just me but I think that I'm gonna do that and not pick up a piece of hardware that If I drop I'm gonna have a good chance of killing my game...

Hopefully they will have alot of games.. this is the least that we can hope for myself being a long term "Gamer" I am one for the good games especially if they have innovative gameplay... I personally am more of a PC gamer recently but I still really love my Cube

There are wonderful games on cube like Pikmin and Pikmin 2 they both gave a new twist on the old puzzle games like Lemmings... also even though it disappointed me Windwaker was amazing...

Metroid was a wonderful ressurection of an old franchise and also should have grabbed some of the older crowd but didn't quite get that crowd.. and the hardware has proven that it is top notch by vividly remaking the Res Evil Games.

on EA from lower in the threads... I am sorry to see that EA has become a behemoth but they have done a few good things... Like Everything or Nothing This was inovative and when I first saw it I thought Whoa... I think this is gonna suck... but then I played it and it was awesome...

I hope that Nintendo releases a bunch of their good puzzle games and innovative games and maybe even like they used to do bump the price like $25 and include a full game with the system.

Alright 1 I'm a coward and damn proud of it

    2) 5.5 hours... They better have an auto save feature cause I would suck every ounce of life from that to get through a game... In a month I had put 220 hours on my GBA-SP that adds up to 40 charges that's more than 1 a day... I played weekends and on the bus to and from work and during lunch I could make it near two days of my playstyle before the little orange light of near death came on... I can't believe that we are having this conversation... The Vampire that is in that box is the disc... the mini cd's are
    1) going to need to spin which takes power
    2) going to need a brake for when they are ejected
    3) if this is a portable system then they better sell those little things that the old CD drives needed the cases that held the CD while they spun.
    4) We better hope that they don't split too many of the 50 + dollar a pop discs

and I don't know I don't think I'm gonna pay that much for a system that is primarily an MP3 player because currently most of the games are reruns... I don't want that... and are they going to have VoIP or PictoChat... I don't think so... I don't want it
