This block is being put into effect by someone who clearly doesn't understand exactly what bittorrent or file sharing is. I'm sure he will be thoroughly informed soon enough.
History shows that he won't even listen, let alone learn, though.
It's supposed to be rolled out by the end of the year, so even if it is delayed, it'll be more like 1-2 months than 1-2 years. They're currently talking 42Mbps by 2010.
It depends entirely on how many other people are using the cell at the same time. If you're the only one, and you have decent reception, you'll get pretty close to the full amount. Oh, you also need a device capable of that connection speed, which doesn't really exist quite yet (but will soon).
Most of those who would even be bothered enough to send the emails (a rather small percentage I imagine), wouldn't follow through with any of the threats anyway, so nothing would change.
IIRC, Hidden & Dangerous has a system similar to this. But without the stats.
fat chicks. in YOUR bed.
that'll stop ya.
This is slashdot. We'll take what we can get.
The south-west coast of Africa has a slightly different climate to Vietnam.
Because everyone thinks that every company is evil.
So he just predicts they'll be around, not that they actually work?

Actually I see the 360 Arcade is the cheapest, with the Pro being the same price as the Wii.
Most likely, yes.

However, OLED potentially at least has the ability to display blinding frame rate speeds
This is just personal preference, but I prefer my display devices don't blind me. I find them more functional this way.
have you found a magical fountain of information which is omnipotent, completely unbiased, and always on topic?
Slashdot. Duh!
I tried that but I wasn't gonna go to the trouble to get it in a form that slashdot would accept.
Touche.
It's just an old wise tale
Old wive's tale.

Somehow I believe if you could bring one back, bringing another back of the opposite sex within a few years wouldn't be impossibly difficult.
Just mix in a certain frog's DNA, and they'll change from female to male no problems.
I guess that would depend on how reshuffled the DNA gets in the process of injecting new sequences.
As long as it's shuffled at least 4 times, it should all work out fine.
Is it just me or is it NOT in the summary, article, or article linked from the article?
It's just you. It's towards the bottom of the first linked article.
Hmm... I expect his body was hidden in the last place they looked. It always seems to work out that way for me.
Not me. I always keep looking after I've found the body. Just in case you know?
