    Every time a OLPC history is published on slashdot we get a a series of "omg! people outside the US or EU live in mud huts and do nothing but starve all day long!!!11" comments.

    Notice how the only country of the list of buyers (if you can locate them in the map, that is) under YELLOW is Nigeria.
    And how Argentina is actually in GREEN.

    Yes, but portage does this meddling a lot quicker, simpler and it remembers your choices on every update, no need to editing random configuration files inside tarballs (and every time you update), and reading INSTALL or README files, just #flagedit media-gfx/imagemagic -perl and you are set for life.

    A friend of mine used to have a quite big video store and allowed anyone to use the bathrooms, even if they werent buying anything, only to see the same thing happen (piss on the floor, shit on the walls), of course, it all stopped once he closed the bathrooms doors, and only gave the keys to customers.
