At this rate we'll all be impoverished and angry before too long...while the ruling class (government) is still fat and happy pretending to be angry and impoverished.
Which one? The one here in Nashville...which is a few miles from where I work is not. I don't know where the wind farm driving it is. I've never seen it.
Sorry bud but if you voted and didn't have any idea who might be appointed by the person you voted for you don't deserve the right to vote.
I voted, I voted for Al Frikkin' Gore in 2000! I knew who he'd appoint. I voted for John Kerry because I knew who he would appoint and all anyone has to do is watch an old time western to figure on who GWB would appoint.
If you want to say that the voting in the US is a waste of time, you lost the argument. Go back to France!!!!
...again, just like dark matter and time travel. All guess work, nothing proven. Formulas written in a book no one can prove...except through "faith" that its out there.
Since I transfer large numbers of multi-megapixel images, it's important to me that I have a fast link.
At least I hope these extremely important images are legal....
Pretty easy guess. The code with the most infringements would be Linux.
Because MS would be suing Linux, that does not give Linux any valid excuse to view the MS privately owned code. Therefore, unless Linux filed a countersuit against MS for GPL infringement (which would require evidence and exactly where and how it the infringement occured) what you speculate is nothing less than incorrect.
He sounds pretty violent to me. Now, is it the game that caused him to be violent and aggressive or is that just his personality? My opinion is the guy has serious issues which he is able to suppress through gaming. Possibly he has no real social skills and he has transposed the importance of real life with his gaming persona.
Your ideas remind me of the little girl in the north east...whose boyfriend shot and killed her parents. They seemed to be a good family, they seemed to teach their children the right things but children, as we all know, don't have the best judgement at all times. When that judgement fails, that is when the parents should have other means to protect their children. If they had seen what was going on earlier, possibly they could have stopped it before it got too involved. The girl had been sneaking around and seeing this guy even though they attempted to teach her that it was wrong and had told her not to see him. I think, what you call "censorship" could have potentially prevented 2 deaths and two kids' lives from being ruined.
The truth is, online in chatrooms you are bombarded with information and messages from people you would most likely not associate with in a person-to-person setting. Kids are impressionable and the cool 24 year old using foul language, talking about sex and treating women in a demeaning way all of a sudden starts to impress the child. So, the child sort of begins to play follow the leader, trying to fit in. I don't care how well you are "taught" not to be a dumb ****, you will be at some point in your life. More than likely, multiple times in your life and usually peer pressure is the main cause when for kids. "Hey, hit that mailbox with your baseball bat!", "Hey, you're a virgin at 14? What are you? A loser?" It goes on and on....so the answer really is multifaceted. You have to protect them as well as teach them. If they understand why you are protecting them things will go better but it is still tough. Too many people just assume their kids are adults at 12 years old and they step out of their lives no longer assuming any parental responsibility.
By the use of your language I think your parents should have been more restrictive as you have become what you are talking about preventing here...a dumb f***
I mean, as a Linux advocate....when you have to download rpms, recompile the kernel and replace all Microsoft software you can find it really makes for a long day.
No, not really.
Now if Michael had sent emails to talking about his lack of desire to work then ehhh *maybe* but no one in the article got a promotion either.
It's always been stated, especially on slashdot, that Microsoft was the only OS to really have security problems because, Microsoft is inept.
This proves that as an OS becomes more popular, people will find security holes and exploit them. OSS or not, when there are more people using a specific OS install, the numbers of people who don't know what they are doing go up as well resulting in the Microsoft effect - the specific OS then becomes a target for virus attacks, spyware and FUD.
At this rate we'll all be impoverished and angry before too long...while the ruling class (government) is still fat and happy pretending to be angry and impoverished.
Thanks. Think I can say I'm sorry and get my karma back?
I am stunned that you can speak of the Chosen One in such a manner. Your punishment is that you are forever required to speak on from a teleprompter.

I don't know where the wind farm driving it is. I've never seen it.
I wonder if it was a disgruntled avatar that caused the security breach
Actually it is, your viewpoint is just skewed. Thanks for playing but try again.
not any different than MSNBC, CNN, but definitely better than Danger Dan Rather
Just a handful of penguin lovers out there - it hasn't made the in-roads everyone thought it would.
Apple is coming on strong and I think most people looking for an alternative to Windows will go Mac.
If you like looking at a command line all day and living in a cave, go Linux - it's the best "hobbyist" OS out there.
Why blow a seal (pretty gross and illegal in most states) when you can go to Canada and club one?

I know! Janet Reno was one scary man!!! I mean, look at Janet did at Waco!!!
So KDE infringes on the Macintosh single click patent.

Isn't that a women's clothing store?
...and I believe you're both idiots.
I suppose playing the "Hanging Game" is alright with you too?
10 hours a week isn't bad but you are a minority. Most WoW players are addicted and play in the 30 hours+/week range.
Take for example, this guy
He sounds pretty violent to me. Now, is it the game that caused him to be violent and aggressive or is that just his personality?
