    I was referring to politicians, mostly. You know... what the post I replied to was talking about. And, yes, they are sociopaths. Our system filters out anyone else.

    I always notice that on the "How Things Are Made" types shows. They have these big, beautiful machines to manufacture, like, tennis balls or something, and then human workers packaging them up. I used to think maybe there were labor agreements or some such, but I eventually realized it's probably just easier to have people there.

    On the other hand, I did knock the Adoring Fan in Oblivion off the highest peak in Cyrodiil. Twice.

    There's not a jury in the land that would convict me, either.

    People just mistake an intolerance for a food for an allergy (the latter involves an immune system reaction while the former does not).

    That being said, food allergy cases (recorded cases serious enough to require a trip to the hospital) *have* risen in the past 20 years. The cause of this is up for debate.

    Because everyone panics like little pussies or imposes their little misinformed values on entire populations. They have those glowing tropical fish, and California promptly banned them. One of the state commissioners, Sam Schuchat, an emotional twit, even came out publicly and said it want *not* science but a question of values- *his* values. *He* thought was wrong and spouted a pile of new age religious crap as justification.

    People seem to forget about the shooting in Arizona, where a Rightwing nut job shot up a Congresswoman and part of a crowd.

    Are you high? (And can I get a hit?) People *tried* to make the Giffords shooter out to be right wing initially, but that blew up in the media's face so badly even some very liberal acquaintances I know were laughing at them. Massive, industry wide yellow journalism at it most obvious.

    People forget how Sara Palin had "Gun Cross hairs" literally on her web site that had that Congresswoman targeted.

    Wait, isn't there a video game now where you can kill Sarah Palin? Will you be posting a diatribe against that?

    A lot of the Right's outlets started out almost normal. Limbaugh used to be very listenable, and would ding the GOP quite often when he was still based in California. It was around the time Bush #1 got into office that he became the insider. Something big happened over a weekend in the news, and I turn on Limbaugh on Monday just to see what the buzz was, and he spent the first hour dropping names from his overnight stay at the White House. He just went on and on about it. That was pretty much the last time i tuned in.

    How did the Executive Branch do that? Who was in Congress at those times? Were those presidents handed good economic times, or maybe a tech boom that happened with or without them?

    In Jan 2007, the unemployment rate was 4.7% and $2.18 a gallon.

    Well there's your problem! At that price, people were buying up unemployment rate left and right! And now we have a surplus of it. IT ALL MAKES SENSE NOW! ;-)

    You see the same thing here. Some of the posts about the current state of the world are almost gleeful in their tone. It's the wannabe rag tag rebels. It's funny to watch these pampered products of Western society rhetorically fap to fantasies of total collapse and revolution without realizing that people like them would be chewed up and shat out in the first days of a real societal disruption.
