Precisely. It's the idea of innocent until proven guilty. They have to prove that you are guilty.
There could be any number of reasons why you don't have the "paper trail" of music on your computer (eg, you went off to college in a different country and you didn't want to ship several hundred CDs; they were stolen, etc). What that means is that there's not a concrete proof that the music files were stolen.
It's all how you see it, really.
I personally refuse to believe that God exists because "look at life, it's so complex, it couldn't be without a Creator." Rather, I believe for different reasons (though I have yet to see any sort of compelling scientific argument).
However, I do look at the universe, and seeing how complex it is, marvel at its Creator.
It's also kinda annoying how every time an article shows up with "bricked" half the comments are about how it's used incorrectly. We (the readers) get it. The editors don't. Send an email and get over yourself.
Ya, but there's supposed to be a standard way of breaking. And that's what the Acid2 Test tests for. The bigger question - does IE 8 handle well-formed code according to standards, or just the standard way of breaking?
I'm glad someone else gets this. Almost every other comment is "check your mail logs, dumb ass, it's obviously not going down." Or "my mail logs are showing a decrease."
So what? Google is saying that the amount of spam coming into Google went down (check out tfa, there's a pretty graph and everything), and the question isn't "Are all spammers giving up" so much as "Are spammers giving up trying to get into Google Mail?" Granted, according to the graph, between 60 and 80 (close to 70) percent of all email coming through is spam. Also, the graph shows that there was a peak near the beginning of '05, which has since been surpassed, so we might just be seeing a similar situation.
There's no problem with changing your mind, admitting you're wrong, and moving on. There is a problem with not admitting you're wrong, and sticking to your problems. There is also a problem with changing your mind, then changing your mind, then perhaps changing your mind again.
Hence "flip-flop" rather than just "flip". Indeed the adjectives "flip-floppy" and "wishy-washy" both imply a back and forth (perhaps more than once) situation.
Twice in ten years they see gorillas using tools. I think random chance could account for that better than saying that gorillas regularly use tools.
Also, why is it that the great apes are special? I think it's actually much more plausible that we share an ancestor with a bird, rather than great apes. At least, I'd like it to be that way. Then I'd realize I don't actually have arms and hands, but wings! Yay!
Ah! You liked the changes made? ie, the horrible actor(aka Hayden Christenson) replacing the actor who played Vader in IV, V, VI? Or changing Boba Fett's voice? Uh-uh, those were not good changes.
Admittedly, they were made so that the movies were more consistent as a whole, rather than just between I, II, II and IV, V, VI. Makes sense, too, until you actually realize that Boba would have a different voice than his father, despite being a clone. And also that both Yoda and Obi-Wan were shown how they were original trilogy, and Vader should have likewise displayed.
The reason why FFXI was "flawless (as much as one could expect)" is because it was made for the PS2. Therefore, it basically had to be released "perfectly" because it wouldn't be patched, like World of Warcraft inevitably was and will continue to be.

And here I thought it was Python...

Seems his reviews are just as scathing as they are on American Idol...

Regarding Facebook: Why not just give them your limited profile? Most people wouldn't even know.
What's with all the stars in your post?
Yes. Because, God forbid that people see you for who you really are :D
Easy. His boss tells him, no, that there are actually 400-600 Linux users.

And WoW isn't a multi-million dollar available online only game; you can play it with your chums on your LAN connection you know
At first, I thought you were going to say, make sex better. But I forgot this was /.
Which makes me wonder: what else is "missing from our observation"?
