I don't really see how this affects the whole problem academia has with Wikipedia, for that has to do with the factual validity of the writing itself, rather than the people that made it. Even if Wiki was made by a couple of homeless people on the street with a Commodore 64, people would still use it and angry professors would still degrade it.
The claims of the individual; however would usually be considered bad for business from a corporate/publicity standpoint...
I hope they focus on the single player mode more then the multiplayer mode. Even though the multiplayer from Quake 3 was fairly good, i always thought it to be off the tone of Quake's 1 and 2.
Quake 2, being one of my favorite games, i feel that utilizing the Doom 3 engine will kick ass for single player, but with the multiplayer it wont be able to match the Quake 3 Arena scope, due to the amount of players possible. (The doom 3 engine for xbox currently ownly supports 4 players.)
If a utilization of both Quake 3's multiplayer system and Quake 1/2's incredible single player, while focusing a bit more on single player then multi, it will be the game everyone is hoping for.
i have no trouble commenting if i am coding for someone else, but im not going to have more comment then code, as people have requested in clarification of code i write.
thats just really annoying to be quite honest
Alienware has had this option for at least a couple weeks in its Workstations....
Other than it being on a Mac and not a PC, how is this news?
This only strengthens my theory that The Sun is working with Microsoft, France, and, ironically, Blizzard to craft our ultimate destruction.

A way to relate video games to health class without talking about Lara Croft!
Two words: Kick Ass
Step 1: Wake Up Step 2: Take money from stupid Americans Step 3: Go to sleep Are we sure this guy isn't working for Microsoft?

Or you could just be smart enough to know what the code does without the comments? tool

I think having comments in your code is a matter of preference. I find it nice to have as few comments as possible so i can read the code better.
Obviously thats my preference, but i feel comments are optional (unless dealing with really complicated code)
