"P2P networks be held to the same standards that other transmission methods are held"
Your arguement is flawed and not insightful. I would love to see examples of this. What standards do broadcast media use to prevent copyright infringement? What standards are used for any media transmission outside of propritery code?? I would love to agree with what you are saying but it seems as tho You don't know what you are saying.
The real issue is that microsoft wants to keep its dominance in the office productivity suite market. They have already started losing market share in browsers. The last/. article that i saw was talking about MS taking away the online activation feature in XP. Which may impact XP sales. Now its not supporting office on multiple platforms. Ms supports office on the Mac platform whats the big deal to support on a linux platform. Port the software over to the 4 most popular distros and sell the software and support. This is a battle they are not going to win so they might as well roll with the punches.
A google Cache of the website for those of us behind proxys that don't allow access to ports other then 80 and 443

Actually... It doesn't matter who owns the property what matters is the husband in this case was being "recored" with out his permission. It is illegal to be recoreded with out your permission. Linda Tripp found this out the hard way when she recorded phone calls she had with Monica (stained dress) Lewinski. If memory serves me correctly Linda was brought up on criminal charges and she was sued civially for her illegal deed.
if you are going to do something then at least make it stand out. http://bit-tech.net/article/149/ is an example of creative thinking and hardwork.
I believe that this weak story was posted due to some kind of polictial pressure.
Has someone beeing putting the pressure on the editors or was the news day that fscking slow...
