    ... why not Firefox? I personally have not tried Netscape 8, but does that feature which allows it to use the IE rendering engine really make the browser safer?

    I do. I play a lot of games on it. I do tinker with Linux because I'm always fascinated about learning "other" things. Frankly, I do not understand why folks "fight" over this. If somebody is happy and contented with what they are using then leave them be. If you are able to present an alternative that they eventually like and use then great.

    I don't know how this WGA thing works. But if someone can download it under Linux, that means he can share the file with someone with a Windows box - and they could still continue to use Windows. I know this doesn't promote Linux use but hey, it's sharing the love.
