Kansas: state who seeks to overcomplicate the definition of science. The current definition is fine, and a much better explanation then that boiler-plate, chopped up scientific method.

Is Sun evil? I don't really think so. I think they're just misguided, and I really hope Fortress doesn't become prevalent in an area that I have to work in. I don't see this turning out well. Lots of good ideas making a good thing worse.

So there are 200 fake blogs among 8,000,000 that were drawn up with malicious code and this is a story? I'm sure there are far more websites out there that aren't blogs with malicious code. All it comes down is protecting your computer the way you prevent anything bad from happening, by not being stupid about it. 200 is a drop in the bucket when it comes to the blogging community.

  10. Re:Indeed on Eisenstadt's Analysis Of 8 Years' Worth Of Email · · Score: 1

Yeah, I went for years getting a spam for about every 9-10 real e-mails, but then I just happened to try to use an ISP (when I got a cable modem) e-mail account and I suddenly had a need for spam filters that I had never used before. Kinda wish I could see the article...
