    It is quite simple. People have copyrighted works in a shared folder. That is the basis if the lawsuit. What does fair use have to do with that? Obviously none of the judges believe that sharing mp3s is a 'fair use'.

    the wafer are thicker in the new memory but I have never heard about packaged semis breaking. Perhaps this will make them easier to manufacture.

    The Hobbit was really was written for children whereas LOTR was for adults. It would be cool if they gave teh hobbit a complete different flavor in line with the books. Making the hobbit a mega-movie will ruin it.

    It would be nice if somebody would create a definition for nanotechnology that indicates where chemistry ends and nanotechnology begins. I can't think of a single 'nanotechnology' trait that isn't already defined in chemistry.

    I wouldn't be suprised if genetic junk builds up depending on the number of generations the organism has evolved over. There is probably a turnover ratio of like 1:100,000 for humans/single celled creature.

    Funny you mention it but I would bet a dozen donuts that dell had a failure % specified in their contract that would trigger a recall. Methinks people on the net have an inflated view of their importance.
