If we look through recorded time, and due to our nature likely much before recorded time as well, people who can 'hear voices' or otherwise know things they should not be able to know are typically regarded as crazy, devilspawn, witches, or some other name in which heavy medication, stoning, or burning at the stake would be prescribed.
They didn't take into account the 'old fart factor'. When you get older and have kids, you pick up a video from the store and after the kids are in bed and house cleaned up, you fall asleep watching the first 5 minutes of the movie. I don't think this is just a netflix problem.
I think this is the most pertinent comment in the whole... I used to work at a pizza place and a domino's opened up down the street. I got pretty much the same speech except you can replace 'enterprise search' with 'pizza'.
.....and the 'uninteresting' part of the story made the headlines. There are probably 100,000+ ex Microsoft employees. Who seriously gives a shit and what does this have to do with anything?
You could tell that Intel was nearing the end of the processors cycle when they put ridiculous amounts of cache on the processor. I guess doubling up the cpu will be AMDs.
A better way would be to offer incentives that don't cost anything but make sense. Balance emissions requirements against fuel economy.... allow efficent cars to make more pollution, emissions should be milligrams per mile instead of percentage. The net pollution per mile would be the same for both types of cars.
You missed the fact that not only did intel dump their processors on the manufactures really cheap they did it with an agreement that they would not use AMD.
I think many of you have missed the point. Energy beam weapons are going to be one of the major players in the next centuries. The scope of this one is small and questionable but the lessons learned will go into the next generation of weapons, which will be used against larger and more distant targets.
This is a poor anology. In the instance of 'points of space' in the universe all of the points are valid or 'real', whereas with opinion some are just plain wrong, or even worthless to consider.
You didn't happen to live in Soviet Russia, did you?

Generally I hear voices after getting stoned.
What irks me is people immediately dismissing such a person as a nutjob.
Yes, instead they should be searching for a really big slingshot.
Yeah and you didn't notice the billion other non-correlated things that happened leading up to that. Nobody notices when ordinary stuff happens.
google brings me to blogs

I could figure out what girls were thinking and probably get laid more often.
Typically metal fires are extinquished with dry sand.
drop them on lebanon
Many lithium compuounds, particularily the hydrides are pyrophoric and/or exothermically react with water.
you have been penis owned!!
It is expensive for me but not so for my employer. They would rather licence it then to pay me to learn some other cheaper program.
is squishing a lithium ion battery enough to make it catch fire?
taking a shit.

put your head in the sand if you want but iis/sql server are a magnitude better than they were just a few years ago.

Yeah flushing twice to get all the brownfish down the hole really saves water.
who experiences sharp pains in her thumb, hand and arm when using her mouse.
Stop squeezing so goddam hard and it will stop biting her!

The FSM assured me so.
