    If we look through recorded time, and due to our nature likely much before recorded time as well, people who can 'hear voices' or otherwise know things they should not be able to know are typically regarded as crazy, devilspawn, witches, or some other name in which heavy medication, stoning, or burning at the stake would be prescribed.

    Generally I hear voices after getting stoned.

    They didn't take into account the 'old fart factor'. When you get older and have kids, you pick up a video from the store and after the kids are in bed and house cleaned up, you fall asleep watching the first 5 minutes of the movie. I don't think this is just a netflix problem.

    Many lithium compuounds, particularily the hydrides are pyrophoric and/or exothermically react with water.

    You could tell that Intel was nearing the end of the processors cycle when they put ridiculous amounts of cache on the processor. I guess doubling up the cpu will be AMDs.

    A better way would be to offer incentives that don't cost anything but make sense. Balance emissions requirements against fuel economy.... allow efficent cars to make more pollution, emissions should be milligrams per mile instead of percentage. The net pollution per mile would be the same for both types of cars.

    You missed the fact that not only did intel dump their processors on the manufactures really cheap they did it with an agreement that they would not use AMD.

    I think many of you have missed the point. Energy beam weapons are going to be one of the major players in the next centuries. The scope of this one is small and questionable but the lessons learned will go into the next generation of weapons, which will be used against larger and more distant targets.
