    Yeah, but I had some users who would purposely click on everything just to cause their work system to get a virus. Since it was not their home system, they didn't care and thought it was funny. What needs to be done is to have some sort of consequence for their action if it can be proven that they were not being ignorant, but just stupid. They thought it was humerous until I told them I had to take their system off line for hours until I could get to it and they can go explain why they can't get any work done to management.

    While I am sure your numbers are correct, there are 45.2% of the readers who may not believe those numbers, with 26.5% of those only slightly believeing the statement. If the 84% of the servers sold within 75.4% of the nation accounting for 68% of the business population on the northern 56% of the States, blah, blah, blah, blah.....

    Whoever FSCKing invented statistics should be shot. They really mean jack (they are picking the numbers to present) except to get your article on /.

    With the new MS license model, it'll be a new server every year!

    The difference here is that some of these folks are mentally unstable and cannot determine what is 'right' or 'wrong.' Consequences have no meaning to them.

    Good for you. If they are repeat offenders, call your local political figure and ask them why there are repeat offenders on your streets and what they are doing to either provide rehabilitation or remove them from potentially harming others. I think it's been proven that 'street justice' just doesn't work well.

    Wow, kids look at the long hours, fear of off-shoring, deminishing pay scales, being crapped on and say to themselves, "That may not be for me." Big surprise.

    I think a general population of students (not country limited) has a lot in common with a lightening bolt. It will take the path of least resistance.

    But wouldn't the past articles be avaliable at your local library for free? I mean, if you really wanted to read NYT and do not have the additional means, going to your good old library is a possible solution. I think I remember what they look like...lots of books, newspaper organizers.....

In many cases they are providing reports for their employer. So next time you run into a scientific report, check the source... not all scientists are funded equally." Ok you got me on this one. What is it you are trying to say here? If the scientists work for industry and have distinct bias, then why would 90% of them state that there is global warming? --your source is flawed IMO---

    It's not the number of people the we gain every year, it's the location of said population growth. If we spread folks out some, see if the environment can support them naturally (No food shipped in) and go from there.

    You earn interest on accounts. That's taxable income which is tied to your SSN. You earn income of any type you are supposed to pay for the social programs the US offers, thus -> Social Security Number. It's all about tracking the taxes. It's just that the SSN has become a 'all in one' tracking/verifiation mechanism for which it was never orginally intended.
