Odd that , as for me knoppix has always auto discoverd most of the monitors i used it on and thats alot of workstations. and if you want easy install , try ubuntu.
Plus try the same thing with windows if you dont have a graphics driver at hand ;) same situation with low reseloution.

The ammount of compromised roots ? got any fiqures to back that up

Last but not least , We don't(most of us) want to destroy windows , we want options (personaly i dont use windows at-all and im glad i can do that thanks to the work of the Wine team and contributers) and we want the ability to choose what we run and on what system we run it , so the only thing we want to do is destroy windows monopoly and force a fairer market.

What the FOSS community could gain(as opposed to the linux community) i belive , is a new viable choise , Right now your stuck with the option of using linux , *BSD , BeOS clones and derivitives(blueeyed os etc),Amiga os homages and derivitaves(syllable) and only then BSD and linux options are ready for the masses .
With a code base such as this we would have that golden third option , which hopefully may give ReactOS a boost too.I know plenty of people who still use os/2 today and many others who enjoyed it , so this would be a wonderfull addition .

They will need to extend the date till the numbers are well under 10 million(at-least ,preferably alot lower) other-wise several million people going out at once to get TV add-ons may cause a few problems(along with a few boosts in revenue )

Second if your going to send a legal threat for the love of god do it in the right language , as sending it in english can cause problems .

Apple need to have a word with their lawyer about this as it is bad practice .
Other than that , apple do have good cause to be angry at this site ..

However i do not yet know if bittorent sites can in all sanity be proesecuted for any breach , as First they are only holding information pertaining to the download IE: the torrent(not any copyright material) and in civil cases i don't think you can be prosecuted for such things(obviously very difrent in criminal law) in most european countrys.

Good design dosn't always means artistic design , I love the DSs design as its simple , easy to use and reminds me of the good old days .
I also love the PSP design as it looks like a data pad from star trek.
Finaly i love my Mac as it reminds me of some form of retro space helmet(eMac) and an homage to the classic imacs and the origional mac.
Good design dosn't end when you gloss things in Metalic paint , if you have a good reason for doing it.

Sweeden has for a long time been in the lead for Broadband connections (atleast in europe and im fairly sure the only competitor to the supremacy has been japan till today), I know atleast 3 people who are on an 100Mbit pipe from bredband , It quite literaly puts the rest of the world to shame in terms of price and capacity and has done for years.

If these companys can afford to do this in sweeden , then i would love to hear the excuses of the companys in other lands , for example why you pay on average about 40USD for a 1MB line(note:statistic pulled out of the air , but based on experiance).
In germany im paying near 50 Euros a month (70USD) for a 3Mbit conection, A bit of social awareness of how badly the rest of the world is getting ripped off May shake a few things up.

The average consumer may not care about the details of the internet conection they have , but i know the average consumer does'nt like to pay more for less..
