Schools, libraries, and other public computing venues have been subject to installations of illicit software known as "Tor." It is believed to be a child-hating pornography-spewing america-killing program that allows access to sites such as Myspace, Slashdot, and Goatse.cx in places where they are usually banned. If the hungry artists are fed, then the only thing they can complain about piracy hurting is their bottom line. Who is more likely to draw sympathy, a starving artist or "the man?"
Now all they have to do is fix their product search on the main page. If it's not the right term for something, you get a list of completely unrelated books & music. Try searching for "light bulb." It should be a common thing, right? Nope... you get "Snow" by Curt Kirkwood and books about the historical effect of the light bulb. Other than that, I'm perfectly willing to give my soul over to the beast of retailing.
A JavaScript..erm...script should be treated as an executable. Sure, it's based on Yahoo's servers, but when you open it, it's run on YOUR PC and will do whatever good/evil deeds it's written to do.
I think that a bigger detriment to your system comes with running modern Symantec products! AVG, ZA, and S&D make my day.
I ran the new beta in a virtual machine for a while... Tried to install spyware crap from some website, and it asked if I really wanted to do that. Only problem is it does that for pretty much EVERY program. Good for lusers, but frustrating if you actually know what you're doing.
I put my information out there for beered-up, iPod using college kids to see, not the NSA. By the system of the site I use (Facebook) you should be a friend of a friend, or attend OSU to see that. It's a little different than a sign in the yard.
Hey! Those people aren't in my school network!
Seriously, though... Would sites like Facebook open access to the NSA or can they just go in there, bypassing the usual requirement of being in the school network? I'd hate to have to see the NSA set up fake school e-mails at EVERY school on Facebook.

"But it could also be the way Japanese society works, namely it's a very casted and stereotype producing system." Ever visited the USA? We've got plenty of those too, albeit perhaps more "unofficially." The further along a society is economically or socially, the more likely it is to have such disparities. Incidentally, Japan is often considered a "Western" country, as far as economic advancement goes. I guess it depends on whether you mean western by geography, or by material wealth.
What, exactly, is the question?
Is it:
What kind of line should I have?
or
What kind of router hardware/software should I use?
I'll shoot at the first question: You already have a fractional T-1, why not buy the whole thing? It's not as elite as redundant OC-48 lines, but like you said, you can't afford those anyway. If you want a step up from that, get redundant T-1 lines from 2 different providers in case one gets nicked.
"The debate, which may come as a relief to those with argumentative relatives, was organized by Disney to promote the release of the film "Chicken Little" on DVD."
I smell a conflict of interest. Since this study was obviously tainted, the chicken MUST have come first.

Well then, they won't pay AS shareholders, but only by their positions as artists and consumers.
People in green socks will be shot. People in red shoes will not be shot. If you're wearing green socks with red shoes, you're still on the block.

Every once in a while I think censorship has gotten bad here in the USA.
Try searching "Tiananmen Square" on yahoo.cn and compare to yahoo.com.
If I had more bandwidth, I'd gladly put up a proxy for these folks.

That the power of the blog can be used to add to the power of the boardroom?

Apparently, though, his robot is unfamiliar with foaming beer!
Add a temperature/foam sensor to the bugfix list and you're set for v2!

Sounds good, but...
What's this "record" thing? The only thing I can think of is a two-sided DVD. Is it like that?
I kid, I kid...
