Got a G54 preinstalled with DD-WRT from Buffalo last week. Immediately installed Tomato on it, and it's performed brilliantly. Whereas before I would have to reboot my router once every other day, this one has an up time of eight days so far. I love the QoS features of Tomato. Keeps the web speedy during torrent downloads.
The part that pisses me off is they've done a pretty good job of encrypting the firmware updates too. Absolutely no way in for the Rockbox hackers. Pity, because I was thinking of buying a 160GB iPod Classic now that my old iRiver iHP-140 is full. That's a sale lost, then...
Especially since Apple don't make that model any more.
The Inspecter is actually part of Web Kit, and it looks like Google haven't bothered to do anything with it yet, it doesn't seem to render itself properly in some places.
I don't think so. Remember that much of the new market share for Firefox comes from non-technical users, who have had it recomended to them by technical friends or family. They may not even realise you can change the search engine in the search box, or may find they prefer whatever search engine Mozilla choose.
If Google stop paying Mozilla for searches sent their way, Mozilla will change Firefox's default search engine to someone who is willing to pay for the privilege. Google don't pay Mozilla out of the goodness of their heart. They get a tangible benefit from searches sent to them.
Did you not hear about the Hutton enquiry?. I'd like to see a citation for your claims of propaganda and corruption. Let me guess, either you're a Daily Mail reader, or a foreigner who gets all his information on the BBC from other Slashdot comments.
Do you REALLY think the Chinese would detain foreign nationals and furthermore, high up officials form their countries, whose disappearance would immediately be noticed. I won't deny China makes it's own people disappear when convenient, but it is ridiculous to suggest they would do the same to IOC officials.
By choking, I mean that iPhone developers are not fulfilling their potential due to the NDA, and are being turned off or giving up on the platform due to Apple's total control. For the record, this was typed on an iPod touch, and I really want the platform to suceed.
I would call a down cleavage photograph sexual harassment. And other comments on this thread also show Hawk as not quite the virtuous freedom fighter that he presents himself as.
The thing which is choking iPhone development right now is the absurd NDA, and the absolute control Apple has over the App store. The NDA prevents any discussions about development, if you want to see the frustrations caused by this, just follow Craig Hockenberry's Twitter feed. He's the developer of Twitterrific.
And why risk investing thousands in an iPhone app, if in the end, Apple can arbitrarily reject it? Not to mention the ridiculous wait times developers endure to push out updates, whilst Apple review them. Especially bad if you inadvertently ship a show stopper bug.
Apple needs to sort this stuff out, or iPhone development will gradually die out. Which would be a shame, because they managed to get an awful lot of developers very excited about it.
I live in the UK and I can't use the Hula player to watch American programming, and music websites block playing tracks. Licensing is a bitch, but non-Americans suffer from it even more.
Jon Stewart rarely mocks his interviewees. I'm liberal, but I have definitely been given a positive impression of some conservative politicians from their appearance on The Daily Show.

You are alerted when you are tagged. You can remove your tag from other people's photos, and they will not be able to add it again.
Yes, not the CURRENT generation iPod classic.
As long as you have an older iPod, ie, the previous generation iPod classic, or the first generation iPod nano.

No commercial channel would dare put such an insufferable moron like Jeremy Clarkson on TV like the BBC does.
I think that's why they call it a beta.
You could replace America in that sentence with everywhere else in the world. Not a troll, sadly entirely true.
Holy shit, I didn't see that.
So now the question remains. Is the anonymous OP a danger or a menace? Or just clueless?

When I was recently in California, I found the 'No Solicitors' signs hilarious. In Britain, a solicitor is an attorney.

I'm guessing you've never used Cocoa. Try it, and be amazed.

Being creepy may not be illegal, but sexual harassment certainly is.
It's a joke. Email sounds like disagree mail. Of course, it wasn't a very good joke, I had to explain it.

Isn't Bill O'Reilly's evil twin Bill O'Reilly?
