  1. Re:I own both systems on How Nintendo Could Win It All · · Score: 0

For teens and college kids, it's just not "cool" to be playing cartoony mario games while all your friends are killing hookers in Grand Theft Auto.

As a college gamer who owns a plethora of gaming systems, I can tell you that my friends and I have just as much fun playing games like Mario Party, Super Smash Bros., 007 Goldeneye, and Mario Kart 64 as we do owning each other at Halo 2.

Just because a game is "dark" and "edgy", that doesn't make it any more fun. And the coolness-factor of games like GTA have long since worn off in favor of multiplayer games that you can play all night with your friends.

"However, few would disagree with the assertion that Resident Evil 4 - a title developed from the ground-up for Nintendo's system -- was one of the prettiest games of the generation."

Yeah... Because "pretty" is the first word that comes to any one's mind when they hear "Resident Evil."

Schools like this are the reason acceptance of Darwinism has waned in the U.S. in recent years. It's unfair to blame stupidity. The truer explanation is to blame poor schooling and massive ignorance. American schools don't teach biology properly, and the cycle is repeated as political pressures born of prejudice against evolution further subvert scientific education.

    Where is his science?

I won't touch on anything else you said, but Firefly did have one scientific truth that almost every other sci-fi outing has ignored or forgotten.

Every explosion, engine burn, weapons fire, or blown hatch performed in the vacuum of space is bereft of sound on the show. Now, this novel idea seems to have been lost in the movie translation. But, it was nice to see while it lasted.

  10. Fingers on Nintendo Revolution Under Wraps Past E3 · · Score: 0, Troll

Or it could have more to do with the fact that you can count the entire number of worthwhile titles for the GameCube on those same digits.
