is the best approach because it could capture the laser, bend it around, and shoot it back at out at the drone. remember space balls? how they used that row of pipes to fire back at the guys with laser guns?
Hey, me too! Only people don't loose limbs and possibly die when things go wrong. That only happens when things go right. It's not easy to get weapons on target.
'Although Toyota had performed a stack analysis, Barr concluded the automaker had completely botched it. Toyota missed some of the calls made via pointer, missed stack usage by library and assembly functions (about 350 in total), and missed RTOS use during task switching. They also failed to perform run-time stack monitoring.'
Huh? I'm a software engineer and don't understand the relevance of this statement, how can a jury? How does it confirm that there was a defect?
maybe u need a smart watch that looks like a traditional watch.
it could have a metal dial that points to different positions on the watch face depending on who is calling, with the ability to program in 11 of your fav callers with a twelfth position reserved for all other calls. Could do the same for txt and email messages, with a small, date like dial that rotates to indicate if it's a call, email, or txt.
And people were still going nuts at the "under-$1000" price point because while nothing came close to the iPad, it's closest competitors were at least $2,000.
When the introduced the iPad at $500 it was a phenomenally low price.
more so, they will know exactly where everyone is intending to go, the second they get in their car.
that's why Google's pursuing this tech. they know what we're searching for online. now they will know where we are going in real life. your dash becomes the perfect targeted ad platform.
We like to be ABLE to drive. We don't like to HAVE to drive.
I'll be fine with limiting my driving to some self driving counties or some weekend race track options if I don't have to 1. drive my work commute 2. sit in traffic 3. worry about my family getting in an accident 4. worry about parking 5. own a car 6. maintain a car 7. assume liability for a car and/or car accident 8. destroy the environment
Don't know where you're coming up with $12/hr. You're more likely to start between $30-$40/hr at Raytheon for IT security work with no experience or minimal experience. Hell, you can get an internship there before you even have a degree for $20+/hr. Other companies pay similarly if not more.
BTW...24% of millennial are interested in IT security careers? That's HUGE. Show me any other field which has so many people interested. Major FAIL in the interpretation of the poll.
it's instilled in us by our parent, friends, family, and community. it's also common sense, so even those who don't get it from the above sources can reason their way through what they should be spending. too many people just don't care, and live life on the edge, out of disregard for themselves, and the others that pick up the bill when the fall.
well...I don't think the US troops shot that many kids on their way to school as collateral damage while we were in Iraq and Afghanistan...I hear it was just a few thousand of the 100K civilians we killed. Oh, wait, that's not what you were referring to.
this kind of criminal behavior from our gov makes us look like fools. how can we bomb the shit out of people around the world to bring them freedom when we don't even have it at home?
i've been in organizations where the manager steps in occasionally a redirects efforts to his pet projects. it can derail other efforts and cause people to ask why they are trying, even if the interrupting project seems cool to some. i saw many people leave that organization as a result. so it really depends on how it's done.
sounds like AC has never traveled or lived in a real city (outside the USA)
our gov should tax our gas to the point where we're all using public/shared transit. or at least smaller more efficient vehicles. and bikes. and our feet.
and MSFT was thinking, why are we even talking about problems, we have 90% of the market. until they didn't. marketshare size doesn't mean everything is dandy.
so they are more guilty because they tried to cooperate and destroy files when asked to do so by the gov? so next time they will use this lesson to refuse to destroy docs. and they will be tried for failing to destroy the docs. there's no winning.
This car will sell well. People are failing to understand the market.
There are plenty of wealthy folk who like the idea of a Volt, but don't want to be seen in a $35K car. These people will snap up the $75K ELR. It's got the cool features of the Volt, but allows them to drive a car that reflects their financial situation/status.
plus 4K screens are just around the corner. and multi-screen 4K.

the weaponization of drones was predicted nearly 100 yrs ago by tesla.

one of the features of this ship is stealth. they won't shoot it down if they don't see it.
but it is a scary idea that a $10K missile can take out a $3.5B ship.
