When I ask Siri to wake me up tomorrow at 8am....and it's 12:10am or something like that...I don't get an 8am alarm for the morning...but for two days out! It takes tomorrow very literally.

Yea, and it seems like more and more our government is spending our tax money changing the lives of others instead of our own people. Why can't we improve our bridges and schools rather than build them for our new found "allies" after bombing their previous government into submission?
Can we also consider cost? In 1995 an average laptop cost $3,000 and a good one was touching on $5,000. It might have had a 12 inch passive matrix color screen if you splurged.
Now you can get a Netbook for $250 which is hundreds of times more capable.
The thing is that cars are cheap these days and they hold their value for a longer period of time. You get get something very good for $20K that will come with a 3-5yr warranty. You can often finance it over 60 months with near 0.0% financing.

I wonder if this will ultimately lead to them spinning off their foundries...in the past, I thought they have viewed their foundries as a competitive advantage against other chip makers. I wonder if that's still the case.
Religion and Science are only at odds when religion or religious people dismiss strong empirical evidence as untrue because it conflicts with their story that some guy wrote down thousands of years ago.
Would improve things to have the light turn orange just before it turns from red to green like in Europe...so I would know not to slow down or stop as I approach it b/c it's about to turn green. Also would speed up traffic flow because people will ease onto the gas when it goes from red to orange...instead of playing the light like a starter gun in a race and slamming on the gas when it suddenly goes green with no warning.
When I have to have a whole fucking fist full of nickles, dimes, and quarters just to buy a $1.50 coke and a $1.00 snack from the vending machines at work, and they don't even take pennies at all....I know something is wrong with our currency.

It's hard to get funding when you're not a) blowing stuff up or b) concerned that others are trying to blow your stuff up. Sad.

Pennies have more value as projectiles than they do as currency.
